oh no ,

im so demoralized now. i'm dating my SO and he is a WP holder. im a Singaporean . i understand that we got to seek approval from MOM before we can proceed with our solemnization in this December. I'm now stuck in writing the letter. Does anyone know how should i go about it ? I tried to find some samples but unfortunately cant find .

Is it true that if MOM rejects us , does it means that he will be terminated from current co and send back to msia ?

Why do you need to draft the letter? Don't worry, his WP won't be revoked if the marriage application is rejected.

You need to fill up this Marriage Application Form and mail to the following address. Its takes 3-4 weeks for your application to be processed.

My bf is from China and has been working in Singapore since 2007. He also has 1 adv diploma and 1 diploma cert from a spore education institution. His S pass application got rejected even though his previous company tried helping him. And now, he is working for a new company with a basic salary which is below the requirement for S pass.
I know that for PRC, they have limited time in Singapore and I am very worried.

I want to apply for MOM's approval to marry him but I'm afraid that my status will affect the application.

Is there any successful case or anyone know what are the conditions MOM is looking for to approve the case?

Hi Valerie.

Just ahead apply to mom first. Because if u really do want to marry him. The end result will be u still need to apply to mom for permission. MOM will access on a case by case basis.
