Hello babes, just FYI, wedding fashion season is April/May & Sept/Oct every year. So since our wedding is Dec next year, go after Oct to see the latest gowns!

Haha we basically booked banquet and church venue, nothing else done.
We are going for pre marital camp in Nov, and will start selecting the relevant vendors from Jan 2015 onwards.
I already have the pricelist of the vendors I'm shortlisting so just need SO to review.

Which VG are you considering?
 
Hi all dec brides! Just a suggestion do u girls wanna have a Facebook group for 2015 dec BTB? So we can share more photo and discussion in a more private group? Cos saw some brides at other forum doing that. :)

Good idea. Thanks for sharing. =) Then how about pre-wedding shoot? What is the best time for gown selection? The sales previously told me to take our pre-wed shoot after CNY which i felt a little too early.
 
Anyway, I have just created the group. [2015/12] DEC BTB. I would be busy with work till march next year. In the meanwhile, anybody able to volunteer to help out as admin first? Your help will definitely be appreciated! Thanks! :)

I guess it depends on how long they take to let you select photos/ come up with album layout/ viewing of final draft & changes/ final print. CNY is mid-end Feb next year. I think May/June should be a good time... But check with your BS though :)
 
According to my BS, half a yr before wedding shud be a good gauge for photoshoot? The BS will change the gowns every few months so see when they have new gowns coming in :)

I would like to join the Facebook group too :)

Some BS from bridal roadshow actually feedback to me that we need to give them at least 3 mths to prepare everything. I'm not sure how true is this.

Yeah agreed! I think the best timing should be ard May / June. But I guess I got to drag till August due to my invaslign. Haha I know I'm kind of last min oopsy!

Yeah my friends actually told me that we should inform the sales coordinator to update us if there's any upcoming new gowns collection.

Gonna jian fei now.. determination !!! Arhh!!!

Hi @DJ2016 hmm i signed up during their promo, im not sure if it is still on. But other than e normal inclusive e promo includes free flow beer, wine and brandy. Also a one night stay for helper room.
Oh im holding a dinner banquet :)
 
Are you guys start looking for wedding dresses yet? It will be cost effective to order beforehand, many vendors are promoting around end of the year,new pattern with affordable price,perfect!:p

Hi BTB, just curious any of your htb gonna wear anything else other than the usual suit during the first march in? If yes what kind (traditional, military)?
 
@heisenberg I think it's really up to your btb and you to decide what to wear? I've seen couples marching in in Hanbok before, though they aren't Koreans :)

Not too late, still have time, just settle your banquet first if you're going for one.. Hotels tend to get taken up faster for year ends I think? I'm on 19th too =) After getting hotel, I've just been procrastinating XD

Hi all lovely btb, im also a btb for dec 2015. Just got proposed to on sep 2014!:p

My AD is 27 dec 2015... we wanted 19th but hotel we wanted dont have slot anymore and due to counting dates and budget constraints we decided to take sunday instead.

My hotel is fort canning hotel. Beautiful place!!!

Mine has about 50 tables, not confirmed yet.

Are you still sourcing for hotels? I would advice you to be fast. A lot of hotels do not have slots in dec anymore as normally dec is packed with events like weddings and D&Ds.

Fairmont was my last choice and thank God I've the ballroom that I like. =)

Hi girl,

Exactly. I have not finalised yet. Mine is about 25 tables.

Pending to view another 3 more ballroom and will decide. Fairmont is my first choice, however the ballroom for 20 tables is abit too small.
