My wedding is also in dec, and I had already asked all the guests to attend my wedding. Need to inform them early as some are planning for trips in Dec.

@diminiblue that's a big differences! If there are plenty of tables left, then it is not a big problem. You can just put down a range of *example* 20 - 28 tables. If not ask htb to discuss with MIL, prioritize the guest list. For me, I never invite friends' partners or kids.

Cannot discuss with her, because she's deliberately making things difficult for us... We have denied letting her plan and dictate our wedding, so this is her being rebellious... So headache now! If plenty of tables left then we'll be paying for so many empty tables

Mine's also on 12 Dec. Have not gone about looking for JP. I heard most JPs will only confirm 3 mths prior to wedding.

Really depends on the htb/ htb family's situation. Bride must manage her parents' expectations accordingly too. Prior the the parents meeting to discuss, best to ask them first, then let the htb know. See if it's acceptable. So during the meeting it would be manageable. That's what I'm doing.

As my decision were quite last min I didnt manage to book a hotel. I got a restaurant instead. Those who has smaller table size can consider restaurant.

I researched on a few videographers, it really depends on what kind of videography you're looking for. My videographer says he can do express highlights, but I opted out, because I'd rather he takes his time to do it properly.
Don't worry, dec is still 6 months more, as long as you've gotten your venue.
If you're not doing prewedding shoot, there's ample time to get your AD clothes. Bridal studios said abt 4 months before wedding still have time to select and alter.

If you're not doing prewedding shoot, there's ample time to get your AD clothes. Bridal studios said abt 4 months before wedding still have time to select and alter.

Wedding is still far away. Hotel and bridal shop has been booked.
During my free time, I will shop for some minor items for my guest reception.
Feeling abit nervous. I never get to wear or look at the evening gown, afraid I can't find my ideal one since I am so choosy (any bride would be >.<)
And hotel suddenly stop replying my email for weeks... =.= Cant wait for everything to be over :X

Experience has been good so far! I am doing 2 MTM gowns with her and my wedding gown is already down, just waiting for the evening gown. I did my PS overseas so I needed to rent a gown off the rack, Valent only charged me SGD100 and she altered the gown to me size, she also provided the accessories for me too

Me and my fiance just bought our wedding bands yesterday, have to wait 1 month before collection ~ So exciting !!
I have yet to book ROM date and JP as it is advised to book 3 mths before. Right now, have to confirm solemnization location with Pan Pacific Orchard, but it has been 3 days since I emailed them. The last email sent months ago , they don't even bother to reply. =.= !!
