Care to share what are the wedding bands you gals have decided on?

Im not sure whether it is worth it to splurge on the bands but I'm afraid I will regret in the future...

So hard to choose!!
 


it depends on how u look at it. some couples find that they will be wearing their wedding bands on a daily basis and thus worry about scratches etc.
may not want to get something too expensive.

personally, we bought a pair of wedding bands from goldheart, simple design, not very costly. less than 2K.

initially, we too thought that wedding bands are to last a lifetime. but due to drop in ring sizes. we recently jus upgraded our wedding bands for something we like, more expensive.

to us, even thought first band have it's significance, it's the vows we exchange and the love we have that meant a lot more. :)

Just pick something that both yourself and your SO like and feel comfortable with rather that allow the vast choices of brands/design bog you down. :)
 
Just spend on something that makes you happy :) If you're not the kind who wears rings daily, might not even need a wedding band? My ex-colleague splurged on a diamond bracelet for his wife instead of proposal n wedding ring.

I got love n co rose gold wedding bands :):)!! We got em while they were having special discount so 10% off!

My wedding band is thick enough to wear on its own, so it doesn't look too thin without the engagement ring ;)
 
My husband and I went around shopping for rings 5 months before our ROM. We decided on Soo Kee since my husband fell in love with one of their wedding bands. I opted for a half eternity band (no point paying for more diamonds when they scrap the skin between your fingers). Both Brilliant Rose rings cost us a good $4k, but it's for eternity so we're not too hard on ourselves over the price.
 
Hi everyone! My fiancé & I also just bought our wedding bands from Sookee, brilliant rose range.

Btw they have a $150 voucher if you buy above $2000. Do ask for it! :) it ends at 31Dec'2013, so not sure will they continue to extend it.
 
Well... our bands came up to > 4k, plain gold (no diamonds etc) but we really love the designs and it,s meant to go with my diamond ring.... no regrets spending the money (expensive since there were no diamonds)

Wah, why so expensive? Even designer (eg. Cartier) plain gold wedding bands also not so pricey? o_O
 
Me n htb bought frm goldheart, the celestial range. Was told within two yrs, can choose to upgrade, dollar to dollar value. Kinda worth it, so got a pair ard 2k..
 
We bought from Venus Tears at JEM, about $2k. They have quite a good selection, though it's quite a new and unknown brand. Comes with lifetime free servicing, like resizing, polishing, replating.

Hi dear, my fiance and I are considering Tiff & Co because my engagement ring is from there & there is a matching wedding band (platinum, half ring of diamonds). For him it will probably just be a plain band (platinum too). We are based in Australia and the last time we went to check we were quoted around AUD$5k for the pair.

We bought ours from Tiffany and Co. Hers: Half Diamond Channel Set. His: Plain Platinum ring. About 5k plus. I believe to buy something that you really like and last a lifetime, rather than upgrading later on. But it depends on individual preferences thou. Hope it helps :)
 
I have contact for factory price rings. Honestly, those store bought rings have been outrageously jacked up. My engagement ring is $5k (white gold with 0.5 carat triple e diamond), wedding band $1.25k (platinum for both, mine has a small diamond, we actually copied a design from Goldheart I think)

I gt my proposal ring from Jannpaul as well. But I don't think it is exactly cheap somehow leh.. Cheaper than those jewelers la, and good thing is you can choose ur diamond and setting separately + good service.
On a side note, the box that came with the ring dont look nice.. >.<

I got mine engagement ring from jannpaul too.

Contrary to what you think, I felt it was good value for the amount paid. On one hand I get to customise the ring as I like it and on the other hand, i can look at the diamond and be ensured that it's of a certain grade.

Hehe btw, I think the black box is quite nice too. Maybe it's just me. But I like things classy
 
It's a good buy, no doubts about it. And I do still love my ring, of cuz, I chose the settings, he chose the diamond.
And it's probably one of the cheaper ones in the sg market.

Haha! Diff taste ba. I feel it's too wood.. Looks like something not so good.. =X

BTW, did u get ur wedding bands there? I have yet to look for it.. Nice?
 
Mine is around$1.12k (http://newchapter.cfchai.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/naked-wedding-band-500x375.jpg). Initially we fall in love with the Love & Co ring but it's almost $2k for similar design (htb says their yellow gold looks brighter though). Since it's just simple design dun think it's worth to spend much on it. Spend a bit of money to change the white gold to yellow gold and remove the diamond for the female version else it should be less than $1k i think. =)

My wedding band is from eclarity~ custom made and cost around $2.5k but we find it cheap and worth it compare to jp~

For eclarity, they will ask you whether any friend intro you and if you say yes And give the name, there will be discount~ 30 or 35% I can't rem lol
