Wedding bands

Thanks you! I will told my little puppy :p I highly recommend high quality moissanite (not found on Amazon) as an ethical diamond alternative for women - it's indistinguishable from a flawless diamond with the naked eye, is similar in hardness, and doesn't line the pockets of the greedy diamond industry which artificially inflates the cost of stones and employs slave labor. Look into it! Diamonds are for suckers. ;)

Haha, we have similar reasons looking for alternative :p. Will definitely find out more about moissanite.

Nice, and both rings fit together well!

Mind me asking what is the carat of your solitaire?

I was trying out eternity bands and wedding bands like yours at JP, the wedding bands seem to steal the attention from my main diamond sometimes..

Thank you! Initially i was worried that the thicker band would make my main diamond smaller - but the rose gold kind of blends into my finger so from afar can only see the white gold portion in the middle. You might want to consider doing sth similar if you want a thicker band :) my main diamond is .71 Hope it helps!

Ah that's big hehe! Mine is smaller so I probably need to get a thinner band with smaller rocks~ Yours looks perfect, no worries! :)

Oh yeah, do you find JP's rose gold not pink/reddish enough? I like it more pink but the staff says that more pink = less gold. Dilemna...

I am also looking at colored stones and some unique infinity designs, but not too sure yet...

Thin band is dainty and classy! + it never goes out of style :)
When's your AD? If you're not in a hurry you should slowly take your time to look at inspiration online/other jewelry stores. I rmb seeing quite unique designs at Chow Tai Fook too.
Wedding band shopping was the most enjoyable part of my wedding planning process hahah.

Hmm I never compare with other shops' rose gold so i cannot comment on that. They are right that more pink = less gold though cos rose gold is actually copper mixed with gold to get the pinkish hue. But if you're into more pinkish rose gold then I think you should go ahead w what you like :) afterall you're the one wearing it!

Hi all, update, managed to get my bands settled, total cost about 1.3k for both, got the simple one 5 small diamonds while HTB got a plain band. Both 18k white gold. will share photos of band if i receive.

Would to recommend felice jewellery to BTBs who are looking for wedding bands. I was served by renne whom i hear is the manager. Very helpful and nice, doesnt push you to make any decisions even when BTB are viewing the rings alone (i went alone). They can do customised rings with design. She provided good advice and practical recommendations. You need to make appointment first. Hope this helps :)

Got my wedding bands from felice as well. So glad that my friends recommended the place when we were looking for wedding bands. According to the staff, their price can go as low as 40% cheaper than other big brands as they design and supply to the brands like Lee Hwa etc, the shop is at TPY industrial area and they dont have a shopfront so I guess saved on rental. Only downside is the ringbox that looks old fashioned and not so nice, but no issue if you use a ring pillow on wedding day. My half eternity band with 0.34 carat small diamonds cost around $900 and my hubby has a thick white gold/ rose gold band that cost about the same. They can customise to whatever design you like and price still quite cheap, a plain band can go as low as $300-$400.

my AD is not fixed yet, gonna meet FSM in about 2 months, then I will know which date is good for us :) but we are aiming late 2018! saw a design that I really like at ion jewellery street today!!! Really wanted to get it but feels a bit too early to make the purchase...

btw, will jannpaul be able to resize your bands? the shop with the ring that i like said that they are unable to resize (both upsize and downsize) the wedding bands, so it made us think twice.. in case we grow fatter or slimmer in the next one year lol!

hello akane81, any photos of your bands? :)

don't mind me asking, since felice is not as established commercially, how do you ensure that your band is made of quality metal/diamonds? by certs or just trust?

Hi, any btb bought Bvlgari rings from Takashimaya? is it true that we can't order new piece or get a new piece if they have your ring size in the store, which they are using it to let couples to try. If the ring fit, you just have to buy that ring instead of getting new piece because they only have 1 ring per size?

Hey! Like you I prefer more pink in the rose gold and I've asked JP staff regarding the rose gold too but they said the colour will change after wearing for a long time. Don't know true or not. My engagement ring is from them as well and have rose gold on part of it but I don't remember the colour changed at all :(

Oooh then you have lots of time! Slowly choose :)

Yepyep for my wedding band design can resize. There are some designs that cannot be resized though!(e.g. Full eternity ring w the diamonds all around). Which design do you have in mind? I think if you like the design but worried about not being able to resize you can try taking a photo and emailing JP to see if they can customize one that is resizeable :)
