Be Still My Heart, A Japandi-inspired Wedding Styled Shoot

Clean, minimal and romantic – if these are the qualities you are looking for in your pre-wedding shoot and wedding outfits, then this is a styled shoot you don’t want to miss out on.

Modern and calm, yet romantic and dreamy at the same time, this styled shoot by Eve Keepers and their team of wedding vendors friends tells a story of two best friends getting hitched at the same time, embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime journey together.

Named Be Still My Heart, this styled shoot features the concept of Japandi, a style that consists of a medley of Japanese and Scandinavian inspired elements. To bring the concept to life, Eve Keepers paired light, muted hues together with smooth, clean curves of the furnishings on the set, a trademark of contemporary Nordic design, with a contemporary twist on Japanese Ikebana floral styling, a style that Eve Keepers are known for.

Eve Keepers chose to keep the florals and fauna feathery and wispy, inspired by the concept of Wabi-sabi, an aesthetic defined as the beauty of things “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”, beautifully adding a touch of raw beauty and romance to the minimalist and elegant Nordic furnishings.

To complement the set, Anu Rai and Dorothy were dressed in two charmingly minimalist and dreamy dresses. Made of soft linen, the billowy and elegant dresses added just the right amount of softness to the entire look, creating an atmosphere that was ethereal yet contemporary – perfect for brides who are after these qualities for their wedding needs.
