A Romantic Parisian Styled Shoot

Soft, morning light stream through tall windows to illuminate a Parisian bride getting ready for her beautiful wedding day in this romantic styled shoot inspired by the City of Lights.

Today’s romantic styled shoot was dreamed up by Antelope Studios. Watching the hit series Emily in Paris made photographer couple Bryan and Jean miss their travels in the City of Lights, where they would create stunning portraits for couples on pre-wedding shoots against the city’s charming backdrops. “How we miss travelling in Paris, roaming the cobblestone alleyways, discovering quaint little Parisian cafes and ending the day by chilling at Jardin du Luxembourg with a crêpe in hand,” they muse.

Antelope Studios set out to create a vision of a bedroom tea party in Paris. With a refreshing colour palette of pure whites, greens, and blush, they styled a romantic shoot in RAW, a versatile studio space filled with natural light. “RAW is versatile with grey-washed walls, a wooden floor, and shophouse windows which resemble those in the apartments in Paris, to which we added soft sheer curtains to create soft, romantic vibes,” shares Antelope Studios.

Styled by Wulala and with florals by Bucket Full of Roses, the studio was transformed into a chic Parisian bedroom where dreams wake with the soft morning light. Wispy foliage, cappuccino roses, and fresh grapes and pears alongside tapered candles and fine glassware set the scene for classic elegance. Eclairs from Leclair Patisserie and flaky croissants turn the shoot into a French-inspired tea party perfect for bachelorette celebrations.

To evoke a bride getting ready in her bedroom, the team captured model Jodi putting on dainty jewellery by The Starry Co. to complete her outfit of a romantic mermaid bridal gown with off-the-shoulder lace flutter sleeves from Grace Atelier Weddings. Susan Beauty Artistry gave her a tousled, low up-do with classic red lips. Jodi wore handmade bridal hair accessories by Gioielli—delicate flowers finished with a veil, and a ruffled headband.

For the next look at her bachelorette tea party, Jodi wore another off-the-shoulder gown, this time with romantically trailing floral appliqué on soft tulle. A statement headpiece worn on half-up, half-down hair completed her look.

With this Parisian shoot, the team hopes to inspire couples to explore new concepts with them. Whether you’re taking the plunge and boarding the next plane, or want to create unique concepts right here, be inspired to think out of the box for your wedding and wedding shoots!
