Amanda and Joseph’s Fun Pre-Wedding Shoot at Universal Studios Singapore

Amanda and Joseph had a fun pre-wedding session at Universal Studios Singapore to capture their shared love for roller coasters!

Roller coaster junkies Amanda, 27, Operations Manager, and Joseph, 29, Engineer, captured their shared love for thrill rides at Universal Studios Singapore in a fun and carefree pre-wedding session with Knotties Frame, followed by a romantic night shoot on the beach.

How did you first meet each other?

Joseph: We met during a hall supper outing with our hall friends, and that was where we first got to know each other. Funnily enough, it was Valentine’s Day when we first met!

Amanda: Prior to that, I saw him once at our hall pantry and thought he was quite a charmer.

What made you fall in love with your partner?

Joseph: Amanda is creative and outgoing. I was attracted to how she could always make a mundane activity more exciting and fun with her bubbly personality.

Amanda: I love the way Joseph takes care of the people around him. He’s quite the gentleman. He also has a good sense of humour (which is a plus point for me!) and has a genuine heart.

Where did you go for your shoot?

Amanda: We wanted to include things and activities we both love and enjoy in our pre-wedding shoot. So being the roller coaster junkies we both are, we decided to have the shoot done at Universal Studios Singapore (USS).

Joseph: I kind of got Amanda hooked onto riding crazy roller coaster rides and we have some fond memories at theme parks, so we thought it’d be fun to shoot in USS.

How was the shoot?

Joseph: Our shoot experience with Knotties Frame was great! Wan Jing and Zack (the photographers) were very good at getting us relaxed and comfortable and giving us clear directions. We had a great time and the shoot felt more like an outing with our friends than a photographer-client relationship.

Amanda: Wan Jing and Zack are both very relatable and professional. They knew exactly what we wanted in our pre-wedding shoot and they took care of all our needs. They even brought a big bag with all the essential items such as wet wipes, sanitiser, portable fan, and even water for us. We were very touched by their thoughtfulness!

Apart from our USS shoot, we also had a night shoot as it was Knotties Frame’s signature. Wan Jing and Zack headed to the night shoot location rather early to set up the backdrop and they decorated everything! They really put in a lot of effort and love for their couples! We are truly blessed to have them by our side.

When will the wedding be?

Joseph: Our wedding will be on the 26th and 27th of June this year. We will be having a church solemnisation followed by a wedding banquet in Hotel Fort Canning’s Marquee.

Amanda: I used SingaporeBrides at the initial stage of our wedding planning, to read about past brides’ experiences with the vendors that I had shortlisted. For our solemnisation, we are thinking of having an organic, neutral, fine art, floral theme. For our wedding banquet, we are thinking of a rustic, boho-chic theme to match our marquee layout at Hotel Fort Canning.
