Wildly in Love–A Wedding Showcase by SingaporeBrides At Conrad Centennial Singapore

A week ago, we welcomed close to 500 attendees to our Wildly in Love wedding showcase for a lovely afternoon of modern botanical inspiration, exclusive perks by creative vendors, and over $9,000 worth of lucky draw prizes!

On Saturday, 23 February 2019, SingaporeBrides presented a wedding showcase for those who are wildly in love and unafraid to show it! Hosted with support from Conrad Centennial Singapore, the Wildly in Love wedding showcase was an exciting afternoon packed full of modern botanical inspiration, beautiful gowns and bridesmaid dresses, flower bar fun, an exquisite dessert bar, photo booth memories, and a lucky draw with over $9,000 of prizes!

Wildly in Love was held in Conrad Centennial Singapore’s new Junior Ballroom—The Pavilion. A stunning and intimate event space inspired by a glass box design, The Pavilion features three full-length glass walls that fill the venue with natural light and offer views of the greenery and pool just outside.

The new wedding venue was beautifully styled for the showcase by wedding planner The Wedding Stylist, with an exquisite and organic floral centerpiece and floral bar by Bucket Full of Roses. Couples were delighted to be able to craft their very own bouquets from the beautiful flowers daintily set out in glass tubes at the interactive floral bar.

Taking centre stage as well was the incredible dessert showcase with a live nitrogen ice cream station by Conrad Centennial Singapore’s pastry chefs, who created frozen pina coladas to order. Offering inspiration for a statement-making wedding dessert showcase, the centrepiece was laden with exquisite creations such as strawberry tarts, dark chocolate mousse with lemon meringue, and deconstructed cakes. A colourful donut wall and macaron wall added to the striking display. The 500 attendees who came for the Wildly in Love showcase were also treated to butler-served canapés of the hotel’s wedding menu highlights, along with refreshing mocktails and glasses of wine.

Showcasing creative and modern vendors, Wildly in Love helped couples personalise their weddings to truly tell their story. Brides were inspired by the beautiful wedding gowns showcased by designers Amanda Lee Weddings and Dang Bridal, and had a fun time trying on bridesmaids dresses by The Thread Theory. John Lim Photography showcased dramatic overseas pre-wedding photography and actual day photography, while Lin Studios talked to couples about beautiful and modern wedding films and portraiture sessions.

Pine on Paper featured beautiful artisan invitation suites and bespoke options, and Autelier Makeup gave hair and makeup demonstrations to help brides picture their look for their big day. The couples also had a chance to bring home a photo memento of their wedding planning journey at Uniquebooth.sg’s photo booth, where giant balloon props added to the fun.

Besides enjoying the showcases in The Pavilion, the couples were invited on a tour of Conrad Centennial Singapore’s other wedding venues, such as the Dome just beside the ballroom, which was prettily set up for a solemnisation with a lush floral arch by Bucket Full of Roses and tiffany chairs by XOXO.

To complete the lovely afternoon and make their weddings even more special, couples enjoyed exclusive perks such as 15% off gown rental by Amanda Lee Weddings, $1,888 off wedding dinners at Conrad Centennial Singapore, and 10% off bridesmaids apparel by The Thread Theory.

Every couple who attended was also entitled to a chance at our Lucky Draw, and those who made a purchase at the event received an additional chance to win. The prize draws were conducted by SingaporeBrides CEO Mr. Ng Chin Leng and Conrad Centennial Singapore Commercial Director Mr. Timothy Tan, and seventeen lucky couples walked away with over $9,000 worth of amazing prizes, including a white wedding gown by Dang Bridal worth $2,000, a pre-wedding portraiture shoot by John Lim Photography worth $1,080, and $250 photo booth vouchers from Uniquebooth.sg!

We want to say a big thank you to all the creative vendors and soon-to-wed couples who made this showcase such a huge success! We hope you enjoyed Wildly in Love as much as we did.
