Wildly in Love, A Wedding Showcase by SingaporeBrides at Intercontinental Singapore
Last weekend, we welcomed close to 400 attendees to our second Wildly in Love wedding showcase for an inspiring afternoon of wild Summer floral inspiration, exclusive perks from partner vendors and over $5,000 worth of lucky draw prizes!
On 13 July 2019, Saturday, SingaporeBrides hosted our second Wildly in Love wedding showcase at InterContinental Singapore where couples enjoyed an exciting afternoon of dreamy and wild floral inspirations, lively interactions with our group of handpicked wedding vendors, fun activities, an exclusive tote bag and over $5,000 worth of lucky draw prizes!
Held at the Grand Ballroom of InterContinental Singapore, Wildly in Love showcased dreamy and wild floral inspirations in the sweetest pastel shades, perfect for a sweet Summer wedding in the wild. Spacious and pillarless, featuring a high ceiling with mesmerising crystal chandeliers and French windows reminiscent of the old-world charm of colonial Singapore, the Grand Ballroom played host to our carefully curated list of vendors for the afternoon and featured a dessert and floral bar, live stations and butler-passed canapés.
Outside the ballroom, wedding stylist Blanc Studios and florist Sing See Soon transformed the foyer space into a floral meadow fit for a solemnisation in the wild. Conceptualised by Blanc Studios and styled by Sing See Soon, wild, overgrown blooms and foliage ran down the length of the hotel’s signature staircase and lined the solemnisation aisle, opening up into a floral crescent at the end of the runway.
Couples were free to explore and mingle around as they browsed and shopped for their wedding. Divine Couture and The Wedding Present presented beautiful inspirations for one-of-a-kind wedding gowns while The Thread Theory offered pocket-friendly and trendy bridesmaids apparels for the bridal party. Wedding photographer Synchronal Photography and wedding videographer Freya Films talked to couples about documenting the precious moments from their once-in-a-lifetime as wedding stylist Blanc Studios and florist Sing See Soon showed couples how they can personalise their wedding for a unique celebration.Sing See Soon The Thread Theory Blanc Studios Divine Couture TheLittleBrush MakeUp Freya Films
Couples had a glimpse of how they can further customise their weddings with bespoke wedding invitations by calligrapher Wild Lavender Studio, handmade candles as wedding favours or bridesmaids’ gifts from Sally’s Room and personalised engagement and wedding rings from eClarity Diamonds, while The LittleBrush Makeup showed brides how they can look their best with a makeup demonstration. The couples also enjoyed themselves at Uniquebooth.sg‘s fun photobooth and Sing See Soon’s interactive floral bar, and bagged home complimentary blooms and prints from the showcase.Synchronal Photography Wild Lavender Studio UniqueBooth Sally’s Room eClarity The Wedding Present
To make the experience even sweeter, couples were given exclusive showcase perks such as a 10% discount off sign-ups for wedding day packages and special rates for overseas pre-wedding packages with Synchronal Photography, up to $88 off a bridal package with The LittleBrush Makeup, and up to $12,000 savings and a complimentary honeymoon at participating InterContinental Hotels and Resorts for confirmed wedding sign-ups with InterContinental Singapore.
The couples were also entitled to an exclusive SingaporeBrides tote bag and a chance at the afternoon’s Lucky Draw when they register for the showcase. An additional chance was given to couples who made a purchase during the wedding showcase. SingaporeBrides CEO Mr. Ng Chin Leng and Area Director of Sales and Marketing at InterContinental Singapore Mr. Gerrit Chng-Luchau gave away over $5,000 worth of Lucky Draw prizes to 20 lucky winners, including a 1.16 carat, amber coloured, oval citrine gemstone worth up to $800, a $1,000 discount off an off-the-rack gown from The Wedding Present and a one night weekend stay in a Heritage Suite at InterContinental Singapore worth $1,000, inclusive of Club InterContinental Lounge access and breakfast for two, a Heritage Trail tour, high-speed internet access, and 4G handphone for use during the stay!
A huge thank you to all our wedding vendors, soon-to-be-wed couples and InterContinental Singapore for making our second Wildly in Love a huge success! We hope you enjoyed the wedding showcase as much as we did!
