Chervel and Henrick’s Elegant Korean Pre-Wedding Photography
Chervel and Henrick celebrated their love with a romantic and elegant Korean pre-wedding photography session during cherry blossom season.
Chervel, 28, Principal Executive and Henrick, 30, Engineer met on an exchange programme, when they both happened to choose the same university in Hong Kong! The couple flew to Korea during the beautiful cherry blossom season for a memorable Korean-style pre-wedding shoot with IDOWEDDING, where they celebrated their love with an elegant series in the beautiful studios and a romantic session in beautiful nature.
How did you meet each other?
Chervel: We met each other in Hong Kong when we were each on an overseas exchange programme at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The interesting thing is that we were both from different universities in Singapore– Henrick was in Nanyang Technological University and I was in National University of Singapore–but coincidentally we applied for the same overseas course! We only started to talk to each other when we were back in Singapore.
What’s one of the things you love most about your partner?
Henrick: Her amazing beauty and attractively big eyes caught my eyes and heart. She is a super duper warm-hearted lady.
Chervel: At first glance, Henrick looks positive and extroverted. After getting to know him, I realised that he is a very hardworking and reliable person, and someone who always give me his best. In short, husband material!
What was the proposal like?
Chervel: Henrick brought me to the Botanic Gardens on the pretence that his friends were having a picnic, and surprised me with a set up (with the help of his friends) which he had prepared and planned for months! He then popped the question with a bouquet of 99 red roses.
Where did you go for your shoot?
Henrick: We went to Korea with IDOWEDDING in April for our shoot. We chose Korean pre-wedding photography because Chervel loves anything Korean, from their shooting style, gown designs, to makeup and hair styling. We went in April because of the cherry blossom season.
We had a fuss-free experience. The hair stylists and make-up artists were very skilled and professional. Although we encountered rainy weather for our outdoor shoot, the photographer was still able to produce pretty photos, with an umbrella as our prop.
When will the wedding be?
We had our amazing wedding dinner at Four Seasons Hotel in December 2017. We used SingaporeBrides to source for wedding ideas and for preparations.
