Silhouette the Atelier 2017 Wedding Gowns Unveiled at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
Inspired by the heart of the ocean, the Silhouette the Atelier 2017 wedding gowns glitter with the sea’s mysterious allure.
Titled “Heart of the Ocean,” the newest collection of the Silhouette the Atelier 2017 wedding gowns is inspired by the secrets of the ocean, and its deep call to the romantic at heart. The flowing silhouettes of the wedding gowns, with their sparkling lace appliqué and Silhouette the Atelier’s signature elegance, capture the ocean’s allure in wedding gowns that brides will love.
The collection was unveiled in The Fullerton Hotel Singapore’s exquisite Ballroom, where the opulent crystal chandelier glittered irresistibly like the sun through the ocean’s surface, as Silhouette the Atelier brought the sea in with a fabulous bridal runway.
“We used a lot of soft, flowy, and glittery fabrics, 3D lace appliqué, and large floral prints to create a dreamy and magical effect,” shared the designers. An illusion lace gown walked as if straight out of the sea, dripping with tiny white flowers that trail along a dramatic white train as lacy and as sensuous as waves sweeping ashore. Sweetheart ball gowns sparkled with the ocean’s iridescence, while mermaid silhouettes moved with fluid grace. The collection reinterprets classic styles with sexy lace inserts, glamorous plunge necklines, and sleek V-necks that the designers predict to be an upcoming bridal trend.
Known for their intricate work with fine, luxurious materials, the designers used unique lace styles to evoke the magical world under the sea. “We used lace with larger prints and 3D embroidery lace to create texture,” they shared. “Our gowns are also intricately beaded to create a rich and opulent effect.” A beautiful blush mermaid gown was adorned with lace embroidery that evoked coral undulating in the ocean current, while bodices shimmered delicately with luminous pearls and iridescent crystals.
The evening gowns were hued in the scintillating shades of the ocean. “We wanted a dash of mystery to represent secrets of the ocean,” the designers revealed, creating glamorous gowns in alluring, slinky silhouettes and jewelled hues. The bold aesthetic reflects Silhouette the Atelier’s vision of the bride who will fall for the Heart of the Ocean: “Our bride is edgy, strong and independent, but deep down she is simply a girl with a big dream–she dreams of having an amazing experience and a beautiful wedding.”
