Silhouette The Atelier Wedding Show

Silhouette never fails to bedazzle audiences at their wedding showcases, and this time it was no different. Their show at the Marriot Hotel Singapore on 21 Oct 2010, left the brides-to-be in the audience spellbound whilst twirling their pretty engagement rings around their fingers, envisioning themselves walking down the aisle in one of Silhouette’s designs.

An amalgamation of wearable couture, exquisite detailing and lush fabrics, this collection not only brought to life princess-esque dreams women used to have as little girls, there was also much thought put into the feminine form, and how the gown would flatter and enhance the blushing bride’s figure.

Varying from densely embroidered pieces, to sparingly detailed ones, the main highlight of the show were the low-backed dresses that took centre stage. As always, Silhouette The Atelier does their low-backed dresses best – fitted bodices with tastefully sexy backs, showing off the sensual nape of the neck, all the way to the lower back.

There’s something to be said about Silhouette’s gowns – show after show, they transcend seasons; the pieces are artfully trendy but still manage to retain a traditional elegance, a balance only attainable by the most forward-thinking designers.

With innovative designs and luxurious fabrics and a hint of sexy, this collection may just be Silhouette The Atelier’s best collection to date.
