Paint Me A Sunset: A Wedding Styled Shoot by FLOUR and Florals by Benita

FLOUR, Amanda Lee Weddings and other like-minded wedding experts come together in a styled shoot inspired by the captivating sunset sky.

Aptly named Paint Me a Sunset, wedding stylist FLOUR dreamed up a styled shoot inspired by the dusky, mesmerising colours of the sky during sunset. Using shades like indigo, plum and warm orange as paint on a plain canvas, they created an elegant, tender scene which would make guests feel like they were within a beautiful piece of artwork.

Featuring beautiful gowns from Amanda Lee Weddings, blooms from Florals by Benita, tableware from Lovera Collections and hair and makeup by 27A, photographed by Lightedpixel Pixies, this styled shoot is one not to be missed.

“We ditched the traditional wedding arch in favour of modern, versatile floral wall installations and floor arrangements, which were paired with block candles housed in glass,” Larry from FLOUR elaborates. “The composition was inspired by the splattering of paint on the wall and floor; splashes of floral installation in our context.”

Known for her ethereal and elegant gowns, Amanda Lee Weddings’s graceful and fluid creations blend right into Larry’s creative vision of a chic, modern wedding reminiscent of a captivating artwork.

“A two-tiered wedding cake painted with dancing specks of lavender and orange paid homage to the beautiful season of autumn,” Larry further explains. “Along with cupcakes favours sitting amidst a gothic inspired tablewares and gold cutlery, the tablescape is a nod to the growing number of unconventional brides, who are opting for more intimate celebrations at unique venues reflecting their tastes and personalities.”
