Wheeler’s Estate’s Elegant English Garden Wedding Styled Shoot
Feast your eyes on this insanely gorgeous styled shoot at Singapore’s latest wedding venue, Wheeler’s Estate.
Late in February, we embarked on a wonderful styled shoot at the Instagram-worthy Wheeler’s Estate with talented creatives Andri Tei Photography, FLOUR, Dawn Q. Floral Design, Miraculove, and Lovera Collections, and we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to show you the beautiful results of our hard work today!
Tucked quietly away from the hustle and bustle of city life in the newly redeveloped Seletar Aerospace Park, Wheeler’s Estate is one of the latest addition to Singapore’s booming hipster hang-out scenes. Opened and helmed by the same people at the ever-popular Wheeler’s Yard, Wheeler’s Estate is a seamless blend of restaurant, café and bar, rustic outdoors and modern elegant interiors.
Exceedingly spacious, Wheeler’s Estate is brim with wedding possibilities. We created a simple, no-frills set-up at one of the restaurant’s solemnisation areas – the lawn where their iconic silver airstream sits proudly on. To complement the raw and rustic lawn and old-school wooden benches, we lined the aisle with vintage rattan chairs and added pops of colour with brightly hued floral arrangements atop wooden crates and dainty lace dollies.
We couldn’t resist sharing Goldheart‘s latest Enchantine collection on the pretty little garden Dawn Q. Floral Design created in gold-rimmed geometric ring boxes. With romantic, whimsical details that jumped straight out of a fairytale, the Enchantine collection features a series of exquisite and dreamy proposal rings in rose and white gold, adorned with round brilliant diamonds, that are bound to melt the hearts of brides all over.
Our favourite of the collection was unanimously the unique wing ring, especially when you pair with any of the proposal rings from the Enchantine collection! Upstairs on the second floor of Wheeler’s Estate, the scenery morphs into a more formal, contemporary space with splashes of floral and fauna. A lush white-and-green cascading floral structure sits regally at the top of the stairs, leading the way to Wheeler’s Estate’s infamous walkway, dreamily lined with white block candles housed in gold geometric holders of varying heights, gold paper ornaments and loose white petals artfully arranged by Larry and the team at FLOUR.
Paying tribute to the refurbished black-and-white bungalow that houses Wheeler’s Estate and the area’s colonial past, Miraculove dreamed up a lovely English Garden themed illustrated floral signage and accompanying set of wedding stationery, including table place cards and wedding menus.
Inside the elegantly modern dining room, a resplendent gold foilage adorns the overhead white beam structure while pretty plates in whimisical pastel hues and scallop edges and chinoiserie details from Lovera Collections sit daintily in a row on the tables. Delicate gold rimmed teacup and matching saucer sets and luxe gold cutlery, also from Lovera Collections, complete the wedding table set-up.
Bright and cheery clusters of blooms in delightful shades of red, coral and pink sit prettily on the long guest tables while a lavish modern floral arrangement and cascading greens in similar bright hues fill out the newlyweds’ table, adding a pop of happy contrast against the white walls.
No wedding is complete without a cake, so the talented Jophia from FLOUR whipped up an all-white two-layer cake with beautiful hand-painted florals to complement the luscious blooms that accompany it.
