We were invited to The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore‘s Memoirs of Love wedding showcase on 3 April 2016 and had the pleasure to feast our eyes on the beautiful set-up.
The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore’s Memoirs of Love wedding showcase took place on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at The Grand Ballroom. The Grand Gallery was busy with action as couples enjoyed themselves with the photo-booth by Live Studios and refreshed themselves with delicate and exquisite canapés and a pop-up cocktail bar set admist a lush, botanical setting by Boenga at The Grand Gallery as they waited for the ballroom doors to be opened.
Inspired by the fact that weddings are the culmination of every couple’s love story, the Memoirs of Love wedding showcase features four brand new themes inspired by four classic love stories of all time. An all-white floral theme and an attention-grabbing opulent carriage in the middle of the spacious ballroom drew its inspiration from everyone’s all-time favourite fairytale, Cinderella, while a lush, garden theme clearly drew inspiration from the whimisical A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Located right at the entrance were two themes inspired by the autumnal romance, When Harry Met Sally, characterised by its lavish red hues, and a Marie Antoinette inspired Tiffany blue and gold theme.
The afternoon’s program commenced with a simulated wedding march-in complete with the sweetest looking flower girl and a welcome speech by Diana Ser. A bridal fashion show featuring an array of gorgeous dreamy wedding gowns by international designers Inbal Dror, Sareh Nouri, Paolo Sebastian and more from Truly Enamoured and debonair suits by PIMABS followed, capturing everyone’s attention with the exquisite details and excellent design on display. Couples were also treated to a delectable lunch buffet put together by the hotel’s culinary team as the Sparkle Live Music team provided a melodious environment for the afternoon.
