The Louvre Bridal 2016 Bridal Couture Collection – Beaute
On November 7, The Louvre Bridal launched Beaute, their 2016 Bridal Couture collection, at Hotel Fort Canning.
Created to inspire brides to embrace their individual beauty, The Louvre Bridal’s 2016 wedding gown collection, Beaute, abounds with a variety of silhouettes and textures so that every bride can find the wedding gown that best expresses her personality and illuminates her style.
The runway opened with a sparkling two-piece gown in a nod to a key bridal trend for 2016 wedding gowns. Glittering with crystals and beads, the boat-necked mesh top gives the wedding gown a heightened sense of drama. The rest of the collection similarly showcases The Louvre Bridal’s flair for elegance with feminine necklines and dramatic ballgown skirts layered with tulle, organza, and lace.
In addition to the popular sweetheart neckline, Beaute features different silhouettes to flatter various body types. A plunge neckline accentuated with crystals and lace inserts creates a sense of classic drama, an embroidered strap on only one shoulder adds interest, and lace-edged off-the-shoulder straps give the gowns a delicate femininity.
Textures are layered on to create graceful movement and add to the grandeur of a bride’s wedding day. Prints shimmer beneath fluffy tulle, and organza ruffles add dimension to a skirt. Evening gowns blush with pastel shades of rose, blue, and lilac. The Louvre Bridal also showed their newest collection of suits for the grooms. Shiny black lapels accentuate a gunmetal tux and a white suit. In line with modern trends, suits were also cut from colours like blue and navy, and brightened with a pop of bright maroon.Beaute runway highlights, filmed by Coffee & Tea Dreamzcoffee.
