Le Femme 2015 Bridal Couture with The Louvre Bridal

The Louvre Bridal unveiled their latest collection of wedding gowns and suits at the 12th October wedding show at Amara Sanctuary, which featured the models waltzing down the bridal runway in the boutique’s signature feminine and romantic wedding gowns and polished suits.

The Louvre Bridal’s newest collection, titled Le Femme 2015 Bridal Couture, celebrates the femininity and sensuality of brides in love. With romance in mind, the designers drew on the timelessly feminine ballgown silhouette of ladies presented in court, and incorporated soft ruffle details, delicate lace, and airy tulle and organza.

Attending couples were in for a treat as the runway opened with the models waltzing onto the floor in the collection’s evening gowns and suits. As the models moved gracefully in a beautifully choreographed dance segment, couples could see for themselves how the gowns would flow in their own romantic first dances. An elegant ballgown in a deep rosy hue, accented with seductive black lace and covered in a cloud of tulle, twirled and swirled across the ballroom floor as the model’s partner led her in a dance. In perfect harmony, the other couple swayed to the rhythm in a mint blue ballgown with a flattering sweetheart neckline, covered in a cascading waterfall of organza ruffles, and a classic black suit.

Wedding gowns were girlishly romantic, with princess skirts in layers of tulle and lace that floated down the runway. Lace necklines adorned many of the gowns, their crystal embellishment dazzling under the spotlights. Backs were stunning, with sexily low open backs and delicate straps creating a tiny waist against the layered skirts.

Grooms-to-be had plenty to inspire them as well, as the collection featured a range of suits. Retro made a comeback with a plaid double-breasted suit in a becoming shade of grey, and white suits offered the options of black satin lapels or a contrasting black bow tie. Of course, there were the expected black suits as well, but they were each given special details such as contrasting white piping or lapels to make them stand out.
