Timeless Elegance by The Louvre Bridal
On Saturday, 13 December, The Louvre Bridal launched their latest collection of wedding gowns and suits at Singapore Marriott Hotel. Titled Timeless Elegance, the bridal collection is specially created with their Korean designer and is inspired by the dainty beauty of Korean brides.
Brides and grooms here in Singapore can now look like their K-pop idols on their wedding day with The Louvre Bridal’s new bridal collection. Exclusively created with their Korean dress designer, the collection is elegantly simple, yet with intricate details that bring out a bride’s femininity. Launched against a backdrop of whimsical paper blossoms that bring out the dainty grace of the gowns, the Korean bridal collection celebrates the fresh bloom of youth.
The wedding gowns in classic pure white are softly textured with fine lace and strings of lustrous pearls, draped elegantly over the shoulders or a low back. In addition to the traditional white gowns, the collection also features sweet pastel hues of rosy pinks and minty blues, adorned with delicate rosebud appliqué and hand-sewn beads to add romance. Artfully layered with quality lace, tulle, and chiffon, the gowns float gently to the ground in graceful and feminine silhouettes. Necklines are timelessly romantic, and vary from the demure high-neck, softened with lace, to the elegant off-shoulder, to the popular sweetheart. Delicate flowers adorn ballgowns and trumpet silhouettes to create wedding gowns that effuse youth and romance.
The Louvre Bridal knows that brides should make a memorable exit as well as entrance, and the gowns turn around to reveal sexy open backs and exquisitely draped pearl accents, so that the back of the gown is just as beautiful as the front. Brides are also offered demure shoulder cover-ups in stylishly beaded and embellished collars that catch the light with each movement. Well-known for their Korean style, The Louvre Bridal completes the Korean look with glittering crystal tiaras and natural-looking curls swept into a girlish ponytail. Bridal makeup is fresh-faced and beautiful, with dewy skin, rosy cheeks, and demure long eyelashes that create a youthful and natural visage.
Grooms will cut a gentlemanly figure with the modern suit interpretations that The Louvre Bridal offers. In trendy colours such as navy and cream, the stylish suits are paired to great effect with bold prints and coloured shirts, perfect for the dapper groom. Moving away from shiny satin, the suits feature checkered prints and more casual tones. The classic cuts of the suits allow grooms greater versatility in styling, and can be accessorised with printed bowties and smart cravats to add a dash of modern flair.
