Brooklyn-based designer Michelle launched her first line last Fall, and she returns with a daring collection of bridal separates with sleek lines and edgy embellishment. The Della Giovanna Fall 2015 collection was inspired by the intricacy of medieval chainmail armour, and features unconventional elements like gold chainmail and leather alongside more traditional textiles like silk charmeuse and organza. The collection’s 27 pieces can be mixed and matched 147 different ways, allowing a bride to create a wedding gown that perfectly complements her figure and suits her wedding day needs.

An update on the leather armour worn in medieval times, a fitted crewneck top in soft white leather is reminiscent of warrior princesses. Another edgy leather piece is the white leather harness, which features dainty straps and gold hardware that work surprisingly well for bridal wear.More modern influences also prevail, evidenced in the cute mini skirt, the wide-legged pant, and the ombre coloured ruffled skirt.
