Colonial Elegance at MASONS 2014 Wedding Fair
On 12 October 2014, MASONS at Gillman Barracks will host its 2014 Wedding Fair to showcase the beautifully restored colonial style restaurant as the perfect wedding venue.
Built in 1935, MASONS was carefully restored to pay tribute to the rich heritage of Gillman Barracks. The restaurant’s architectural style re-captures the essence of colonial luxury, and recreates the charming ambience of its grand past. Idyllically set amidst lush greenery and a beautiful lawn that’s perfect for an outdoor solemnisation, the restaurant makes a charming and intimate venue for those looking to celebrate their nuptials in style.
At its annual Wedding Fair on Sunday, 12 October 2014, between 2pm to 6pm, the relaxed dining experience at MASONS will be transformed to showcase its elegant Black and White architecture and lovely garden setting as the perfect vintage wedding venue. Step into Masons to see how the colonial style details and elegant restoration of the restaurant set the stage for a charmingly romantic wedding. With the help of its partnering event stylists, artisanal patissiers, stationery designers and boutique wine suppliers, MASONS will show you how they can host the wedding party of your dreams, whether it be a Great Gatsby-style gala with jazz numbers under the stars, or a classic sit down affair in the restaurant’s versatile event space.
With a glass of champagne or wine in hand, you will be free to consult one-on-one with the wedding experts at the fair on MASONS’ flexible offerings when it comes to designing a wedding to suit your individual taste and requirements. In addition to receiving a goodie bag with discounts and promotions from the vendors, you will also be able to sample the restaurant’s French-influenced European cuisine with a delectable selection of canapés. Soak in the rich history of the vibrant arts hub in Gillman Barracks as you explore the main restaurant, beautiful verandah, bar and outdoor alfresco area that can host up to 200 guests altogether. All of your guests will find convenient parking at the ample car park facilities too.
With the restaurant’s flexibility and experience when planning special celebrations, you’ll soon be on your way to choosing florals for your sweet garden solemnisation ceremony, or picking out monogrammed menu cards to line the glamourous long dinner tables at your reception.
