An Intimate Wedding Fair at Masons at Gillman Barracks
Masons at Gillman Barracks held their 2014 Wedding Fair last month. In an intimate afternoon affair for 40 select couples, the restaurant showcased its beautiful architecture and romantic wedding venue possibilities to discerning couples about to tie the knot.
Couples who entered Masons at Gillman Barracksthat lovely Sunday afternoon of the Wedding Fair were in for a treat. The lovingly restored black and white bungalow was at its most charming. The colonial architecture of the restaurant, hailing from the 1930s, set the stage for a beautiful wedding atmosphere of jazz-age elegance in an intimate, cosy setting. Rich in heritage and history, Masons at Gillman Barracks set imaginations ablaze for couples looking to celebrate their union in a glamourous yet close-knit wedding for their nearest and dearest.
With flowers accenting the traditionally elegant style of the restaurant, couples were invited to picture their intimate weddings decorated with their personal style. The wedding consultants at Masons assured them of the bespoke styling services and more detailed attention that smaller weddings allow. Outside on the verdant lawn, couples saw how pretty an outdoor solemnisation would look against the lush surrounds of greenery and grand old trees.
The afternoon was a relaxed affair as champagne and wine flowed freely, and a delicious selection of select canapés by the chefs at Masons made its rounds amongst the guests. As they tasted the restaurant’s signature French-Italian cuisine, couples took note of Masons’ ability to design wedding menus to include Indian, Chinese and fusion cuisines to suit their and their guests needs.
Not only were their tastebuds tantalised, but their musical sensibilities were serenaded as well, as a live string quartet played soulful jazz and romantic ballads to fill the air with love. Couples were free to chat with the boutique vendors, who were specially selected for couples looking to tailor a unique, intimate wedding.
As the delightful afternoon wound to a close, couples each left with an exclusive goody bag with vouchers worth over $3000 to help create their perfect day.
