Designer Feature : Krikor Jabotian Fall 2013
Closure, Krikor Jabotian’s latest bridal couture collection, is not for the faint-hearted or shy bride. Meant to stand out amongst the sea of wedding gowns, brides can expect gowns that are full of texture and personality with bold folds, dramatic peplums and a medley of embellishments including flower appliqués, beading, feather accents, sequins and lace in this Lebanese fashion designer’s wedding collection.
Jabotian reinvents classic silhouettes like the ballgown and the curve-skimming sheath by adding a touch of the dramatic to these feminine and sleek silhouettes to keep things interesting. Think voluminous skirts in varying lengths, illusion necklines and backs, and luxurious gold gowns.
There is truly a gown for every bride in Closure, romantic or elegant. Although I am extremely fond of romantic silhouettes like the ballgown or princess, I cannot help but be enamored by the two gold gowns in Jabotian’s collection. Elegant, sleek and outstanding, these beautiful gowns exude an old Hollywood glamour that completely charms me.
