Worried and Disappointed

Hi,

Just want to share my disappointment... My wedding is in 3 months and I just started to inform my friends of my joyous occasion... But the problem is, I am now faced with the stark reality that I do not have friends! At least friends who would even take the time out to attend the wedding... It's so saddening...

Sigh and it doesn't help that my FH has loads of friends, and would prolly have people scrambling to attend his wedding..

Now I am just really sad that people will realise I have no friends and such a loser I am...

Together, his friends will become your friends - and that will increase your number of friends
I don't have many friends as well, but his friends became mine.
I didn't have that much of colleagues as well compared to his, but it's okay. Most importantly, every people who turns up feel happy for both of you sincerely.
Worst is to have people who turn up then give you some small miserable ang pows when you had half expected more...
And I also heard of stories like people's best friends didn't turn up on the AD for silly reasons like rain. What's worst?
At least, they tell you up front they won't be coming...

EL, cheer up.. if you only have a few close friends, then do a smaller wedding. like all others said, it's impt to be happy and quality counts more than quantity.
at first i thought i would be able to fill up all my tables and would need more. but slowly one by one tell me they can't make it and im left with 8 ppl on av per table. no way of grouping them up cos all from different clicks. i was scrambling to invite the not so close ex colleagues to fill up the table but all turned me down. so in the end i give up and just accept that out of my 6 tables of friends, only 1 will be completely filled up.
