Tickers (for counting down to big day)

Dear CL,
Can u implement those tickers for us to show at our 'signature' the days to our big day? If we can put our pics beside our nick would be good too..possible? I tink i need simpler method to use colorful icons....i dunoe how..thanks..

Hi Gin,

We won't be implementing the tickers and images for the nick as we would like to keep the loading time of the messages as fast as possible. By adding tickers and user images, it may not be convenient for users who surfs the net with normal band.

However, we'll be reviewing this policy from time to time. Thank you for your suggestion.

I am so glad of the decision taken. I had surfed other forums and the tickers and images really slow down the loading time and it creates "messy" look and reduces the number of posts per page.

Xiang.. actually if u look carefully
there are options in other forums to turn on or turn off those images and signatures etc in your personal settings. thats flexibility. i surf other pets and car forums that are like that... but if SB likes to keep it this way then its fine.
