My MIL's are the top-load asian model, which also has torn some of my skirts linings, ripped some labels & loosened many buttons (which i had to fix a no. of times).. There are also top-load continental ones, my mum's Thomson is quite gentle on my clothes

There are asian brand front loads, not tt exp compared to Electrolux & Bosch... I am going for a frontload too, coz the topload continental models are slowly being phased out as u can't stack it if u're also getting a dryer. Shdn't be tt troublesome *cross fingers*, coz just throw in & wait *heehee*
