Catherine did my montage within 3 weeks but it was very rush for her cos I got her to help at the last minute. I am very pleased with the end delivery considering she has to hand draw all the animated pics of our story. You have 2 months so I am sure she can do an even better job for you. Just call her to view her portfolio.

My guests also commented the tofu and the mango pudding are good. Some told me one of the item from cold dish is a little too spicy. During the food tasting we did told the chef to cook it less spicy. Nonetheless, the comment from most guests are good. No worries about the food.

CCK - manage to breakeven cos some of my guests were very generous. What about u?

Difficult to quote say issit average ang pow is $80. Depends on the guest crowd on how generous are they, normally relatives not that generous as many still remain at $60 rates. But most pple shld be giving $80 for hotel.

Extra invites if u are asking a few pieces more then its ok, but if asking more than hundred, they not that willing to give.

U may wish to check with Fullerton for the wine list pricing and new cockage charge.

Do u need to top up extra deposit on top of the current deposit u paid to MM? How much is MM's deposit?

I am going to select my wedding cards later today. So i may be able to get some info you but if you read earlier posting on this thread. Certain coordinators wouldn't budge on additional cards even if it's just a few but some were kind enough to give extras. So i am not too sure as well. So will let you know if I were run into a similar case.

As for my cockage charge, I gotten a flat fee of $1000 (after deducting the cost of the in-house wine which we will not be consuming cos we bringing in our own) regardless of number of bottle of wine cos we intend to bring in about 100 bottles.

I have 2 complimentary barrels of beer which I will start consumption during dinner and not during reception (unless my parent n PIL think otherwise) AD is on a Sunday. I can't remember how much was the in-house wine (check with Delia when you meet her. She's my coordinator too) though but we will be ordering our wine from our usual wine distributor and the cost is pretty low...think it's $15 to $18 for a bottle of red wine. I have to double-check with my dad or mum about this, afterwhich I will give you more info ok?

Yes, the 2nd barrel of beer is from one of the 3 choices which the other 2 choices is extra bottles of in-house wine and the other is waiver of cockage for a certain number of bottles of red wine. We chose the beer cos the it's makes the most logical sense for our case since we will be bringing our own wine and had already negotiated a flat fee for cockage waiver. Also we reckon that 1 barrel of beer will not enough

Oh and for the wedding invitation cards, please select early. I went to AWT yesterday, our personal favourite card was out of stock cos a few fullerton brides had selected them for the last 1 week. So go early cos even if it's out of stock, you will still have time to get them to order (which takes about 3 weeks from the States) We could not afford to wait so we chose something else.

My AD is on a Sunday. We will be bringing some hard Liquor but not much and yes, you need to pay for the cockage too. But for my case, I just pay the flat fee and can bring in any amount of wine and hard liquor.

The card we liked has a translucent white plastic cover with floral motifs and a white card inside (card and cover are 2 separate items). The one we chose also has a white card inside but the cover is like a light gold tracing paper with floral motifs. The gold tracing paper is more flimsy and crease easily so must handle with care.

I met up with Delia yest evening. She's very frenly, as good as my frenly MM coord! Though we tried to ask for better perks, she was patient and explained to us very gently abt why they can't accord special perks. The way she spoke was not offending at all and we were still happy though we din get more perks than what we expected!

The usual would be 70% invites, 30% parking, free use of Press Room for ROM (can fit 30pax), food tasting for 8. That's about it!

Hi Gals, I was hoping to be a Fullerton bride too, not sure now cos it very ex. Since I'm overseas, my sis helped liaise with Delia.

From reading the threads, Thomas or Gary seem more flexible. Are they still in Fullerton? Can I choose to discuss with them instead?

I read from Nov threads that the B2B has spa vouchers, cheaper corkage fees etc and though Delia is friendly, she can't give me any suggestions to bring my costs down.

Also, seems likes Fullerton coordinators are overworked. Any feedback from newly FH brides if their service deteriorated cos of this?

Both Thomas and Garey left quite sometime already and Delia took over both their portfolio in fact. The package u mentioned abt spa vouchers, cheaper corkage fees are actually the old package the couples signed up with. Fullerton came up with the new package with different perk after their wedding show in Aug tis yr. Every year, Fullerton will revise their rates twice a year.

So far so good for their service to me

how do u go abt confirming the number of tables from the hotel? We've confirm with our relatives and friends and it is likely that we'll have 42 tables.

However, my colleagues told me to slash a certain percentage off the confirmed number of tables as it is likely that some guests would not be able to make it that day.

As such, do u all make the confirmation based on the number of guest whom had confirm their attendance or will it be a lower number? many thanks

I also like Conrad and their food. But in the end, we decided for Fullerton because of its proximity to MRT station and Conrad shares the carpark with Millenia Walk. In fact, at my friend's wedding, many went to the wrong hotel as they confused Conrad with Ritz! Also, Conrad has 12 people to a table. So it depends how many people you intend to invite as well. Hope this helps...

I have something in mind but Im not too sure is it will work. It's about us getting to know each other when we were just kids...about 10 years old. I think it might be quite cute but my concern is that it will be quite wierd to see drawing of kids rather than adults. My guests may not understand what we are trying to illustrate. Personally I think should be fine. Cos my animated montage started with our animation of babies combined with our real photo and then followed by childhood whereby my hubby was trying to dismantle the TV with a screw driver(he used to do that when he was young) and animation cartoon of me holding a doll then all our childhood photo. Kind of difficult to describe how it is. If U seen the full montage from Cat, u will understand. U can chat in Cat's forum to ask her more questions about those animations. She will ask u qns like how do u meet each other, what do both of u do during the courtship etc to help conceptualise the montage. So you dont have to worry.

hi carat, erm...i wear 1EG 2 take pics wif my hb's side during table 2 table photo taking...and when its time 2 take my side..i went 4 the 2nd change.....hope this helps

Thanks....did you specially request for the hotel to let you change in the function room? Is it in the basement as well? I think I will go change into my second EG after when the guest are done with the six dish or right after the photo taking session.
 


hi caratsoup, yea..requested from the hotel 4 the use of the function room..lucky there was no 1 using the room n hence the hotel could let us have it...its at the basement as well....cos i also change a hairdo so time is very tight
