you can go to the below link to check out the breakdown charges. It is advisable to book your church more than 6mths in advance as i myself had a hard time looking for mine.

Hi Ladies,

I'm also a st mary btb.

As for now, I only know the breakdown for food and decor.

200 person reception - $3K
church decor - $300 (DIY)
Choir - KIV
Card - $500
Rental - $600

I'm keeping $500 as misc charges. Not sure if there is any other to pay.

Hi Ladies,
I am a St mary btb in Dec 2011. It says in the form that St Clare Hall has only 2 tables and 4 chairs and we have to call the church supplier for rental of chairs. Does any one know the cost cahirs and tables? Am also considering the canteen as $400 for St Clare is costly for 1+ hour of reception as I don;t think guests will stay for long. What are the canteen round tables and chairs like? Does church help to provide covers?

I am St Mary's bride July 11. Can't help you on the cost of chair and table rental part coz I've not contacted the supplier yet too.

The canteen round tables has about 6 plastic chairs or so with each table. Similar to the banquet dinner setting style. Doubt the church provide covers for the chairs. You can check with the coordinator on that. Anyway, the canteen's at the basement level can go take a look when you visit the church to get a better idea. Hope this helps

hi DNCL,

don't think there is a need to book cos it is optional, your priest will be there to help you. If he is not free, he'll just ask you to rehearse yourself first then drop by and tell you when you should follow him to light the candles, sign the cert. basically just get the choirs & readers to rehearse..follow the program book. for me, i didnt even rehearse..i just stand around and watching 8kids rehearsing! haha

Definitely increased. I've the quotation from supplier. As below:
1) 250 nos. cushion chairs cw white covers.$1,250.
2) 25 nos.5ft round tables cw white full cloths.$375. 3) Labour charges for arrangement of tables and chairs.$80.
From supplier.

Plain white chair is $0.50
White chair with cover is $3

Dont bother spending so much for the chairs when my guest is just going there for a short lunch

Did you do at smota?
Because they only allow restrict to one supplier.
And my quotation is from that supplier.
I do know that those plastic chairs with cover are cheaper. I used for my rom. But over at smota they do not allow outside suppliers.
