sounding silly, i "conquered" my crazy intense fear of hamsters and adopted 3 of it from SPCA for my boyfriend.

yes. i m still really irked by them and i don't know why. haha... but it's worth it since he can't keep big pets like my dogs due to medical problem...

happy v' day!!

After dating for 7 years and married for another 9 years, it is such a uphill task to make the marriage work... and so much gifts to buy... ideas running out... ha ha ! Happy V day to all. We really do alot for the ones we love.

great job lim!

i truly understand what u mean by uphill task....and 7 years dating and 9 years into marriage is definitely no easy feat

Well done, keep the marriage healthy and love sparks ongoing. Its not easy to keep a marriage alive so i think you have done a good job. Its always refreshing to receive gifts or surprises from our spouses and it is this refreshment that help us love each other more.

Well there were ups and downs. fought, cried, wanted to separate... after some time just got numb to it. We don't even bother to quarrel anymore cos always end up with the same story. Bottomline is... never take each otherv serious when quarreling. Only angry words to hurt each other. We enjoy whatever quality time we have now cos with 2 kids time is such a precious commodity. ha ha! Maybe he won't get me anything but it is fine cos i always ketok him something somehow. Wishing all Happy V Day. Its fate that brings couples together.

My hubby promised to celebrate this Valentine Day with me. This is the day which I longed for after so many quarrels for the past 1 year due to some unhappy incidences which I mentioned in my previous thread.

I don't know whether will we feel awkward when taking dinner or watching movie together. Hope that me and my hubby can have a special Valentine Day too and our relationship will turn better.

Hi Lost_babe,

take things slowly lah.....willing to spend time together is already a plus point.

So cheer up and doll yourself up for that day

1st year of marriage is like that, filled with quarrels and never like what you see in the movies. Things will only get better,.... take heart.

Every relationship has its ups and downs. Most important is to stay happy and keep the relationship going whether married or not. Yes this is a happy thread and hopefully this happiness will continue till the next happy thread comes along.
