Hi Midori,

Jit's package has the options with Car or Without Car. But the price is about $250 differences. He stated car model, its a Mercedes but I can't remember the model.

All the packages do come with photography but you can opt out for the photography and an amount of money will be deducted. As for car, they have a package that includes the car and another one without. As for gowns, Huiz has answered you

Is your florist the one that Jit works with?
 
I guess Jit also has to bear more risks if the gowns were to be brought overseas, hence the additional charges. But if the extra he is going to charge is about the same as the amount we have to pay to keep them, perhaps u can consider buying them over if u have some intention to?

Which photographer did u use? There were a few not from his list which I really like but out of budget. So may take The Edge but direct instead of thru Jit.

Midori, honestly speaking, I would not pay to keep an OTR gown unless I love it very very much. I would keep it if its MTM coz its "exclusively mine"... hehe ;-P

I am not sure if the $500 is refundable... Good question.. will ask him when i meet up with him tomorrow.. I have not signed up with him yet.. will go down tmr to try on the gowns before signing up.. as of now, silverlining is my 1st choice..

I actually mix & match ideas from those website, then get Jit to advise. That makes our discussion so much easier...

Need some advise.. Did u all sign any agreement or anything at all when confirming with Jit? We asked for an agreement and he showed us the invoice.. hee..

And sorry for being overly worrisome.. just like to check if there will any additional charges that i should know of?

I know there will be additional charges for to keep, for overseas shoots, for Tea dress and blah.. anything else?

How's the MUA that Jit provides? Which MUA is good?

Hi Midori,

I had Ivy as my MUA. I like her as well as her style. Natural and not wayang like some MUA's works that I have seen before.

I also did not sign anything. What's included is all written in the invoice. I was not asked to pay anything in addition to what was written there too. This is also because I did not ask for anything extra along the way (I asked for extra embroidery right from the start and the extra $$ was already added into the invoice) . I am not sure of the charges, if any, if we ask for more stuff.

My MUA is also IVY. She so creative. Like what Huiz say, her makeup is nice.

As for Jit, no agreement was signed. Only invoice was provided. He was very willing to provide alot of additional stuff without me asking. My gown had more stuff added after the 1st fitting without me asking. He provided flowers for my hair for PS without me asking. He also provided 2 sets of accessories, tiara without me asking. And also lend me accessories for my ROM recently.

All I can say, I'm very happy with Jit.

I'm new here and is planning for my wedding next year in Aug. Have shortlisted silverlining as one of the bridal boutiques. Are they any good? Any packages that you girls can share with me? Please advise. Much appreciated.

I have commented on the other thread, Good good good for SL, as for package, maybe you can ask Jit to email you if you have met him already. I have opt for a la carte item, so i dun have any package detail to share with you, maybe the rest of the ladies might still have.

hi kells, my big day is in Feb & i will be going with SL. In the beginning, i have actually decided on SL but listened to frens & went to other BS to try but went 1 big round still back to SL cos the gowns are really lovely. Meeting Jit this coming week to design my gown. If u like to have the packages, i can email u.
