Hi ling,

Wld loved to call them. But am not in S'pore now, will be back for only a week frm Nov 26th. So, wld really love to meet up with them during that 1 week. TWP got back to me almost immediately with confirmed appt. It's been 3 weeks now, no one has reply to me......sigh...

Hi Alexis,

For your photoshoot with Ostudio, how many outdoor places did you go to?

At the point of signing up, I was told it's unlimited places provided there's enuff time. But last week, Jaki told me only 2 places...very disppointed

I went to 3 outdoor locations (Keong Saik, Upper Pierce & Raffles Marina). I dont think that there is a limitation on the number of outdoor locations you can go, so long as you can complete your PS by about 6 plus, 7 pm. I really dont think that there is a limitation. I remember Jaki saying that people normally go 2 to 3 places, but it all depends on the time.

Not sure whether it is a mis-communication. I think Andrea went to 3 or more locations. Why dont you call Vivian or Jaki up to clarify? I just went down today to collect my AD photo album and understand from the ladies that Jaki is on leave. So, you may either want to wait till he is back in a few days or clarify with Vivian.

Dont be disappointed.....I seriously think there must be a mis-communication somewhere. When is your PS? What time do you start on that day?

Luckily, everything went very smoothly and the day passed by very quickly. I just came back from my 2 week Europe HM. Going back to work tomorrow.... so sian!

Anyway, thanks to Silhouette, my gowns were beautiful and everybody were raving over them!

Felt so 'beautiful' lor. Very happy! Thanks to Heath, Theresa, and the rest of the very friendly people at Silhouette.

Our experience with Heath and SIL was perfect!! Both my husband and I always enjoyed the times we spent there. It is all thanks to SIL that our wedding preparations were so enjoyable.

Now that the wedding is over....we will definitely miss Heath and his team.

Thanks for sharing. Yes lor, that was what I was told by Vivian that there is no limitation of places provided time is sufficient. However, on Sat when we met Jaki to discuss the places we went, hubby asked him how many outdoor location and he said two and I was abit taken aback. yap, Jaki told us he is in Bali for the weekend...

My PS is on 25th and makeup start at 1030am....What time did you leave for your outdoor shots?

I'm right in the middle of both your timelines. My photoshoot is over and I've received the CD of my photos. My AD is in 2 weeks! Panic stations!

Ryes, I went to 2 places only, Fullerton and Sentosa. At Sentosa, I went to the waterfall outside Rasa Sentosa and Tanjung Beach. Maybe that makes 3? If you or your fiance is driving, I suppose Jaki would be able to accomodate one or two more locations. I think they r open to negotiation. If you gals wanna take a peek at my photos, drop me an email at [email protected]
 
oh yeah, if you guys want a gorgeous gown and yet come out brilliantly in photos, you can explore embroidery in black, dark red or other strong colours. I did my in silvery gold so in the photos so subtle cant see....if i needed a dress again i would do red embroidery!!! =)

Hmm....are you driving? Because for us, my hubby drove, so driving in between the 3 locations was pretty ok. We managed to complete pretty early and had to take some drinks while waiting for the sunset at Raffles Marina.

We started at about 10:30 am too. By the time we left for our outdoor shoot, i think it was about 3 pm.

Havent heard from you in quite a while! Is it going to be your AD soon?? Thats fast! I remember the last 2 weeks before my wedding....! I was away for 2 weeks on overseas business trips and by the time i came back, i only had 2 weeks to settle everything at work before i was able to go on my leave.

So, the last 2 weeks before my AD was really panicky as well. I thought we were already pretty organised and most of the stuff were already settled. But, there were small little details that we still had to settle before the AD. So, in the days leading up to my wedding day, i was sleeping very very late. :P What were some of these things....finalise song list, finalise guest list (last minute RSVP), table arrangements, AD program and schedule, jie mei and xiong di duties & tasks, etc etc. We did manage to squeeze in a half day to the spa to relax 2 days before the AD.

Luckily, everything went pretty smoothly that day. Everything really went by in such a flash!
So unreal!

Most importantly, after all that preparations, both of you must hand over the responsibilities to the bestman/bridesmaid and let them run everything for you that day. Just relax, enjoy yourself and be a beautiful bride!

Hi Aleixis

The RSVPs and table arrangements are indeed driving us bonkers. Turns out that my fiance's camp is going to have an exercise beginning on my AD! Now the guest list is a mess! *sigh* Trying to not think abt it now. The Guo Da Li is happening this Saturday and my hen party will be next Friday, yay! Now in the midst of buying materials to make corsages for my jie mei and the ang pow box.
And the worst thing is I have to work till 2 days before the wedding. Am saving my marriage leave for next year to visit my in-laws' relatives in Ipoh.

When you say that you are considering the silver embroidery, is that for your EG or WG? For mine, i had silver embroidery for my WG. For my EG, i had black lace. So, it was pretty striking against the platinum.

Quite a few of my guests loved my EG.

Hi count & Ling,

I am so sorry. Have been so busy with work after i came back from my HM. Also preparing for my business trip at the end of this week.

I have also been trying to select certain photos taken at my Photo Shoot and also from other amateur shots taken by me during the fitting sessions in the last few months (so that you can see more of the details on the gown) or my other friends during the AD.

My AD photos are out already, but because they are on traditional negatives (did not buy the digital package), i will need to send the negatives to be converted to a CD before i can load them into the album. I am trying to see if any of my other relatives or friends have some nice pictures they took during the AD to show you.

Just realised u are holding banquet at Shang and using Sil too! hi 5! heh. and ur AD is quite some time away - exactly like me some time back. many similarities here ;)
 
hi count and ling, sent you the link to my pictures. the 3 outfits were all from silhouette. as you can see the pretty embroidery is not very obvious in the photos although they were gorgeous in real sight. there was silver (which is like a champagne gold) embroidery in flowers leaves and twines and crystals sewn all over,, plus transparent sequins on the train which creates a shimmery water surface type effect...very pretty! maybe you can see it at the shop when you go there, ask heath.

I love ur smile - very very cute and cheeky. U look very very happy in the photos heh. What u said is true i think. The photos don't do justice to ur gown! Can see the details if i look up close, would be great if the details were clearer cos this would make it more outstanding! Amazing that u came up with the whole concept of the gown urself cos i'm still stumped for ideas of my ideal gown. Will certainly ask heath to show me ur pretty gown when i go down for my first appt

Just finished making my ang pow box and the corsages for my entourage. Took me one whole day! Yup, the kua is from Sil. You can loan it FOC. They also have a beige coloured one, if you want something different.

hi count, the photos of course were taken actual day super fast so the photographer has some too contrasty pictures...thanks for your nice comments, thank you thank you! that's why i said if you are daring enough to try bright red n black embroidery, it will come out on pictures clearer and more dynamic!
