SG Bridal in JB

Hi All,
I would like to share my bad experience with sg bridal as a post bride.
For those who has not signed up packages with sg bridal, please think twice before you decide to sign up with them. Indeed, the makeup artists and photographers, their skills and techniques are said to be fabulous and world-class as many have posted their comments, but their post services are lousy, especially after you have paid your package in full.
Forget it if you specially request kelvin/Jenny to be your photographer/MUA for your photoshoot, they will simply inform you that your photographer/MUA has been changed when your day is nearing. Reason: sales coord forget to write your request in their booklet. they will tell you that they have change yours to a professional master without extra cost.
Bear in mind that even the package you signed is RM4888 or RM6688, it doesnt matter as their sales coordinates will hard sell you to purchase all your softcopies back at another 3-4k more. You will ended up paying more than what you wanted to save. So solution is, find another bridal shop.

Sorry to know your unpleasant experience with SG Bridal. May be there are miscommunication during your negotiation?
So far, I have no problem during my PS session. My photographer & MUA were fixed when I signed the package. No last minute change like u mentioned here.
Actually we should make sure sales ppl write down everything they promise in black & white like what others said in this forum. All bridal shops will try to avoid commitment if there are no written prove lo.

nope, my coordinator does not hard selling.. she left me & my friends there to choose photos ourselves.. perhaps she is too bz that day as there are oth ppl waiting for her..
My coordinator is Ivy. Ya, I think I shld try to call her & see if she forgot bout mine!
Your PG is Kevin & I believe your photos must be very nice lo.. U will top up photos even there is no pressure /hard selling from the bridal shop lo, hehe..

As for gowns, i didnt really went to their rack and choose. I simply told them to get me whatever they think its nice on me, and I will try it on.. =P Coz, im sure thru their professionalism, i will look nice in those gowns during PS.. They picked really lotsa gowns for me to try.. Even thou I already KIV alot of gowns, they just kept bringing MORE.. =P

i managed to curb my temptations.. =D never top up for any pages.. =P But i bought back all my softcopy.. will get it next week (i guess)..
its a difficult process man.. need to have a good determination NOT to top up.. =X btw, who is your coordinator?

hi ladies... other than Rovina, how were your experiences with SG bridal? im quite torned beween SG bridal and inspiration.... Inspiration has better AD wedding gowns...but i like SG bridal's photo shoots... any advice?

hi solidstar21, me just signed a package with SG Bridal. A very pleasant experience. I've frens who signed up with them, their after sales service is great too =)

wow.... thnks for the advice! likely that I will forgo my deposit with inspiration to sign up with SG bridal.. but arent you ladies worried abt the AD gowns? I've taken a look at their AD gowns and they look quite old..

I think u can check with your coordinator for the contact lenses lo, they shld be able to advice u on that.

Min wah> I encountered it before wor.. My shoot was Thursday and Friday.. But from Monday to Wednesday kept raining in Singapore.. Terrible!! Wednesday was the worst!! Rained whole day of cats and dogs..
Before I sleep on Wednesday night, I did some 'prayer' .. Thursday went pretty good! So I did another small 'prayer' on thursday night for Friday.. Had a great weather too.. Not too hot too..

Elly & DoubleJ> I will go Rainforest. My package is 6k+ can choose for two outdoors, seems like need to top up some.. but Ivy didnt mentioned it last week. They very helpful, i went in JB again to re-choose the gown for kota tinngi (initially i chose Desaru)..
Kota Tinggi can only choose for one gown, i have to give up another evening gown.. end up i have total 6 gowns..

Hi Ladies, i've MIA for awhile in the forum hehe. Collected my album few wks ago. My experience with SG Bridal was great too, from the pg, mua, coor & everyone there. Thumbs up for their service, no hard selling, unique album layouts & able to compromise to my request. Showed sneak pics to some friends & they were wowing at photos hehe, its really value for money & great quality pics compared to many other BS in s'pore. Glad i've made the right choice
Now looking forward to gown selection in few mths time.
