Seperation qns - hdb

Hi all, may I seek some advice on HDB and ring ?

1) As we are waiting for the MOP of the flat, if we have reach 4yrs + I was thinking of sending a appeal to let us sell the flat to the open market. What would be the procedure be for this ?

2) For the proposal ring has been return to me since we sign the separation, i see little need to keep it. Would pawn it off be possible ? Should I go back to the shop which I got it from ?

1. Write a letter to HDB to appeal for the selling of flat. Since both of you are not considered divorce, just separated, HDB might not approve the appeal.
2. No use for the ring so might as well pawn it to get cash. Any pawn shop would do, not necessary the shop that you have bought the ring from.
