ROM Lunch @ Zhou Kitchen''

Poponta >> Wow, last day of 2008 *sweet*
Same here, I also opted for hi-tea as my ROM is in aftnn. Any idea whether there's any mini reno at the garden?

i call up zhou kitchen just now. Seems that if u don have big grp of 6 n above they r not able to close the area for u... even the garden we have to pay a rental of 100

<dimsummeimei> I only had 24 + 2 babies at my ROM. We had it at Zhou Kitchen@Novena Square 2 and even though they didn't have a garden, the staff went out of their way to make sure it was a nice and special event for us. We had the 2 private rooms and the table was dressed with rose petals. The food was great and service was impeccable. There was so much food my guests had to tell the service staff to stop! However, the maximum they can accommodate there is about 28. Good luck with it!

Hi Weixiang, we paid $12.80++ per pax for the buffet and $3++ per pax for beverage (soft drink, chinese tea and herbal tea). As we didn't have any alcohol, that was the total cost.

hi all, am thinking of zhou's kitchen far east sq as i only had 20pax guests and Irene told me now for Anchorpoint rom package high tea buffet min. 30pax...if for set menu then is 20pax..but set menu will exceed my budget, since Far east square will be in a small private room so 20 pax should be ok. Will be going down to the restuarant later for more info, wonder if they do any simple set up like for the chairs or tables...anyone had experienced there? thanks.

hi ctrus, seems like no change of the mini garden..irene emailed me on 18/12/09 with the exact same pics as in the previous posts here

Understand that it is better to select a few dishes beforehand so that after the solemnization ceremony ended, food will be served shortly (to minimize waiting time). Any recommendation which dishes are die-die must try??

Hi Celeste, Thanks. =)
My ROM was ok...just that it was not as romantic as I thought it would be...hahaa...things happened quite in a hurry as my solemniser reached the pl 15 min earlier and wanted to start. The garden still look the same as shown in the pics above. Think Zhou Kitchen lacked service staff that day...so need to wait awhile to be served.

Hi Poponta,
yeah i just had my rom there last weekend. yeah it'll generally all right but it's definitely not a spot to select if you're looking for the romance feel. i did my ceremony in the afternoon and it was pretty hot and stuffy at the balcony. my guests also talked about the problem of finding parking there. Food was however good and received compliments.

Hi Evybody,

Long time no come in to this topic. So happy that so many forumers find Zhou's Kitchen a great place for ROM. As i myself also ROM there and can see they actually re-decorate the mini garden to much a nicer place than the time i Rom. I am so happy that i can share with all of you the nice place with all the Bride-To-be. :-)

Hi all. I've emailed Zhou kitchen in regards to the solemnization at anchorpoint(garden) or other branches with private room.

Irene from anchorpoint replied me in a very bad English, "pls attah & call us back". And she stated that we need to
Pay $300++ for the usage of garden and the menu starts from 398++ instead Of 298++ as stated in tunglok events page.

Anyone who recently did the solemnization with them? Pls share thanks!

Hi. Can anyone share with me if the usage of the mini garden is restricted to 30 mins or? In event of rainy weather, is the place sheltered? Thanks a lot!

Hi all(:
Have anyone done their solemnization at their Square 2 outlet? Care to share some feedbacks? Im planning to invite around 40-50 guests. Thank you!!!
