i would like to DIY my very own ring pillow for my solemniztion.
but i not too sure how to sew the pillow after stuffing in the cotton.
the 3 sides ok for me but how about the last side of the pillow.
For the fourth side you sew about three quarters of that side (i.e. leaving a gap for you to put in the stuffing). Once you finish stuffing just hand sew the gap.
Ha! Ha! Joleen it is going to kind of hard to show you how to slip stitch on here.
So I tried googling for you. Click on the link within the link - ok I know this sounds corny! There is a picture of a slipstich which should give you an idea. They are very small stitches so it shouldn't show thru'. They are stitches that we also use on hems of skirts or trouser bottoms. Anyway hope the info helps.

hi marie, do u have the shop detail, mind forward to me? maybe i can go dwn and chk wif them see if they can unsew and customise then sew bek.. tink they might charge more for tat..
i'm trying to make my ring pillow too... was thinking if i'm a bit too ambitious cos i wanted to do a PM cross stitch of a wedding couple on my ring pillow..
I plan to DIY my ring pillow. Instead of sew, I like to buy a pillow and add up some decoration on it. Any ideas where to find a pillow. Size 8" x 8" with white satin cover.
