Not too sure about their service now.. but i attended a wedding last year at one15.
The food was bad and beverage top up is really slow..

19/11/16 BTB here. c: I wanted 12/11, but my venue was already booked on that date. Thanks for creating this thread! Nice to see other Nov 16 BTBs!

Wow I wanted Fullerton too. But the hotel is really hot and all the dates I wanted are like booked already!

Yeah! So hard to get a date with Fullerton. My date was the last Saturday dinner in Nov 2016 so we quickly choped it even though it wasn't our first choice. Luckily Violet seems very experienced and competent so I trust her with my wedding even though the hotel handles a high volume of weddings. She's always very prompt and accurate in our correspondence (unlike some other hotel that didn't remember *anything* about us when we made a site visit and was even half an hour late!).

I am sign up with the aisle bridal.. Have you go down to choose your gown for photoshoot ?? I'm

I haven't gone down for my gown selection yet, will probably go around Feb I think! I'm a bit nervous because I've read that their selection of evening gowns is very limited, but I guess worse come to worse, I'll just top up for a MTM evening gown. They seem to have a lot of white ballgowns so I think I'm safe as far as the wedding gown is concerned.

Their outdoor coloured gowns is very limited .They have a wide range for white gowns but not for coloured gowns. I had went down to choose my gown and arrange a date for photoshoot on 29/01.. My advice is to go down earlier to choose else later the gown u like Kena book by other BTB and to book the date for photoshoot ...

Grr. I wonder if I can just have no evening gown for the outdoor shoot. So troublesome. Initially I thought that Feb was a bit early to select the gowns, but after your advice, I think maybe I ought to be more kiasu. I'm just worried that after I make my gown selection, new gowns will come in and I'll regret and have to pay to change my gown.:confused: Do you know if we have to choose our gowns within the same day or can we go back another day if we can't find something we like?

You can try asking .. I think should be ok to come choose another day if u did not find anything u like ... Cause they will ask u to take photoshoot before March since your wedding is November .. They need time to print the photos etc that's why we goose Jan for photoshoot ...

It might be a bit tricky for me and my fiance because he'll be going overseas from late Feb to early April, so most probably we'll only be able to do the photoshoot either in Feb or April. Feb is a bit hard, because I'll be overseas in early Feb myself, so the whole month is more or less taken up. I guess I'll have to call my coordinator to work this out with her. D:

Yeah.. Haven't really started looking though. Quite torn about whether to take separate photography from other photographers and just take AD package from bridal.

Hi all .. i want to be nov btb.. but my date not fixed yet... and by seeing most of u have already booked the wedding banquet... its making me panic...

Don't worry too much yet! It's definitely still possible, you've still got just slightly less than a year. I took about a month to decide on my venue and bridal studio, so depending on how hiong you want to be, you can get things settled very quickly. The most time consuming part (for me) is doing site visits to view the venues. It helps a lot to do your preliminary homework online (research on packages, look at photos of the venues) so that you can shortlist a few that you really like before actually going down.

Another thing I did was to come up with a list of questions related to the venue and then email them out to all the hotels that I was interested in. In addition to getting the information that I want, I'll also look at various factors: 1. How quickly do they respond? 2. How professional are their responses? 3. How comfortable would I be working with this coordinator? It also saved me a lot of time from asking all of the questions only during the meeting itself. I actually crossed out a few venues from my list because they didn't respond to my emails. If they can't take me seriously from the start, I just don't find them dependable. One particular venue gave me a one liner response 2 weeks after I sent my first email. D: Definitely not someone that I want to work with. It's also a good way to get the most updated package details from them since sometimes those listed at forums or even at their website might be outdated.

First thing you need to do is to think of a date (and a few back up alternative dates in case your venue is fully booked), an estimated guest list and a budget. Everything else will fall into place from there. (:

Congrats!!

Do you intend to take photos locally or overseas? I still can't decide on this

Initially, I thought of going ala carte for everything since I had a particular MUA in mind (not local though) and a particular photographer (Bloc Memoire). I ended up going with a bridal package though because the MUA they were assigning to me had a very similar style to the MUA I wanted in the first place. While I didn't like the photographer as much as Bloc Memoire, the costs were a lot more affordable within the package and I managed to get some perks from the studio which I wouldn't have gotten if I had gone ala carte. Plus the photographer's portfolio was pretty decent. So the bargain hunter in me decided to take the whole package and get it done once and for all.

To be honest though, my heart is still a bit itchy because I really love Bloc Memoire's style. : / But we're already spending a lot of money on the banquet, so I'll just have to make do with the photos from my studio.

For us, we'll be taking the photos locally because neither of us can spare the time to go overseas.
