My Dream Wedding

Hi Lebonyl,

Please ask your coordinator or visit MDW for local indoor. I have not seen from their samples as well. I think only a few of us have done thei local PS.

I asked my coordinator if guys' suit will be coming in new stocks, she said no. I asked if it's confirmed, she said most likely these on the racks...no more coming in.

As for light beige yellow or white suit for grooms, I think MDW's men's suit are a lot better compared to the other BS in SG.

As for kua zhang styles, i agree with Pearl that it is necessary to match with HKG's designs. I think not only me, a lot of us are also worried on this aspect.

Hi Pearl,

Who's your coordinator?

Ya Lebonyl,

They do not provide indoor, all outdoor now that Pearl said so.

Retsnom,

When was your PS in HKG?

Hi Retsnom,

U also took their La Mer pkg? Did you tk their MV?

Guess you'll be viewing your pics nxt week.

Yup, I took the La Mer package but I did not take the MV.

I am not sure when I will be viewing the pics. No news from Singapore's MDW yet. The photographer did show us the photos on his camera occassionally though. I hope they turn out well as I had a hard time keeping my eyes open for the shots at La Mer. =)

Retsnom,

My bf too...he couldn't get his eyes open naturally...due to the scorching sun...is the waether there hot in the day and cool in the night?

ohh.. i didn't realised that its only outdoor shoots.. thanks alot! :D Now i need to think about it already, coz its alot more expensive than other local studios, only the HKG package looks attractive now...

Hi Silin,

There was no scorching sun on the day of my PS. It was a nice weather with the sun hiding behind the clouds but somehow, it was just too bright for me to keep my eyes open to face the camera. -_-" I won't be surprise if my eyes look funny on the photos.

Overall, the weather during my stay in HK there was alright. In fact, I am thinking it's a warm winter. LOL...

Hi Lebonyl,

It's HK package is indeed very attractive. I ever took a couple portfolio at one of the bridal shop in Singapore. I must say the experience is very good. Though I have yet to see the pictures, I think it is well spent money.

The one off experience I had at the other bridal shop was a real turn off. I told myself I will never engage it for my wedding. Imagine I even overheard the MUA asking the team to shortchange the couple. So much for their efforts to convince me that I should sign up for their bridal package.

Trina: My AD package includes 2 tuxedo, 1 wedding gown and 2 evening gowns, flowers for bridal car and 2 car entourage, 1 hand bouquet and 6 corsages and make up. You signed up for local package too?

Restnom,

I went during Nov. It's too hot and my bf could hardly open his eyes...luckily i got fake eyelashed blocked the sunlight from penatrating my eyes.

But certain photos can see my bf v painful-looking...like v miserable..due to the sun!

Ya, their winter is not like winter...not even cooling!

Hi Silin,

The eyelashes did not work for me. I had a hard time opening my eyes till I was happier taking shots looking away from the camera or with my eyes closed. LOL... It was so bad that Thomas kept asking if I can see him when shooting at La Mer.

Hopefully the photos are not spoilt by my eyes.

Silin: 8 sets of suits for photography? Thats a fair bit. How about wedding gowns and evening gowns? How much is your Hong Kong package?

Silin,

My immediate reaction now is "OH NO". On the bright side, I will probably choose less photos. Haha...

My SG coordinator is now Allysa.

Hi Pearl,

You get to choose 2 out of 8 suits from MDW for your PS, it's not all 8 you can get to use it for your PS. Just in case you've misunderstood my meaning.

2 evening gowns and 1 day gown for PS for brides. Mine is exactly the same as Vanessa's $5k, usual $5688 due to I'm the 1st few customers signed on their 3rd day of opening.

Restnom,

Ya...haha...I chose 80 pics....topped up 45 more.

By the way, I have called up my coordinator to feedback that majority of us have discomfort and worries in their range of gowns.I told her that we prefer more luxurious style and not so simple as what they had.

Silin: my AD package also one set of suit for my hubby to be. Only one altot is MTM for the suit but the whole day wearing the same looks sianz right?

Trina: 2 tuxedo, 1 wedding gown and 2 evening gowns (all OTR) for Actual Day. For photoshoot in Singapore, I will have 2 tuxedo, 2 wedding gowns and 2 evening gowns (all OTR).

Hi Pearl,

I'm the same as Trina. 1 suit for groom thourghout AD and 2 gowns for bride plus a kua. How come you have 2 suits and 1 more evening gown? You not taking kua?

And your PS in SG, so good, you have 4 gowns altogether.

Trina,

Ya, my PShas 2 tuxedos, 3 gowns, 1 day and 2 night de. Ya..sian la...but what to do? MDW will charge if you wan more...

Everything is $ $ $.

yar all money. money still quite ok but is the choices that are limited. That y i thinking of changing for actual day. dont want to be worried abt the choices

Trina,

who's your coordinator? U better call to inform them. I think MDW needs a little push at times. They dunno what we want. I think the gowns provided not that nice as in HKG.

Trina: I asked MDW for the extra suit and gown before I signed the package..i can change one of the evening gown to a kua if i want to...but will see how...I prefer wearing a cheong sam
happy.gif
I need to slim down first

Silin: My coordinator is Lydia. I think i told her b4 but anyway i will know on the day i try their gowns....

Pearl: So that mean if u take the extra evening gown, they did not give u any other gown/kua to wear to return to ur parents plc is it?

Hi Trina,

My photo package is the same as Kodomo's, Silin's and Vanessa's.. Only without the AD use of gowns etc..

Don't really remember the full details now.. Have to go home to get the details.. If you want, you can look at the previous threads to see Vanessa's package details. =)

Trina: yes. its either evening gown/kua/cheong sum. When I signed up @ vivocity fair, the lady who sold me the package (PINK) told me that there were no kua/cheong sum in the shops then. So it was left as 2 evening gowns with the option to change to kua.

They have lots of nice kua...but the skirt of the skirt is too big for me...the top still fits. Actually, Kua cost more than gown...they told me kua cost $1k...handmade ma...

trina/silin/shanice: i just went down to MDW yesterday to take a look at the gowns again. This time round, they attended to me and let me try quite a few gowns to see the cutting and to see the embroidery works and lace details for their gowns. After trying, I am more assured now

I shall look forward to June to have my "interview" with them and my photoshoots in July.
