Thanks!!!

Hi cabbage,

Their SG package is 4288. You can see the pics from their Mona Lisa website.

Hi Ching Nee,

They only have may be 200-300 i think. If you can choose something you like, then its good enough ba.

Hi Jerine, I was quoted via email 5688 for the HK PS package. It is similar to yours. And has 30 poses only but yours is $600 cheaper and has 5 more poses!

Wonder if can get such a good deal as you.
I know they require you to pay up in full before you leave for HK, so may I know if MDW allows payment via credit card installments?

Anyone knows?

Hi MDW BTBS, I went down to MDW last week during weekdays and speak to Rachel who happens to be my fren's consultant. Her services were great. I like the way they serve and attend to their clients. Professional and comfortable and very DETAILED. And we love their album! Their photos are so nice!

Did not sign up on the spot as we want to think about whether to go HK or not.

In the end, we went down to the summer romance fair during the weekends to look for Rachel but she was not there so we sign up with two HK consulants,Amy&Carol. They were so nice and friendly! For HK , they will be our consulants. For spore, it will be Rachel.

i'm so surprised...
juz speaking to rahcel alone at the bridal studio u already know her services are great~!~
so for curiousity sake how did she "serve" u???
i tink many pple will be curios...
i tot service comes at a later stage?
Pls enlighten mi...

Hello all..
just did my SG PG on 8th July. MUA Miko and PG Gordon... this Husband and wife combi really NOT BAD! THUMBS UP@!!

I was worried about the photography as am not a very pro-photo person both for myself and hubby. Plus i am one who gets edgy with heat... but their service really left me feeling good... from 12pm (u arrive at their studio to make up) ending at 9pm (back to studio to change out). I left the studio at 9pm feeling happy and extremely pleased with the crew and ourselves.

We brought our furry baby preston (mini schnauzer) to the shoot as well and Gordon did an amazing job capturing us with him. Mozzies were a huge problem but mico and her assistant jumped to the rescue immediately with ointment and anti mozzie patch to try to calm me down.

Our locations include:
Alexandra Park
Sentosa (Greens infront of Rasa and our hotel Amara Sanctuary)
Marina Barrage

We went out with entourage of 4 crews.. Gordon and assistant JianZhong and Mico and her assistant (forgot her name). After this shoot, i truly felt what is "value for monies". The couples we saw along the way only had one PG with them... We felt like King and Queen!

thoroughly enjoyed myself.. and so did hubby... saw the color over pictures for our selection.. and we were really pleased. ended up selecting another 26 more pictures!

I LOVE MDW!!!

Hi Christin,

Glad you had fun! Great booster to our confidence in MDW too. So, did your package include 3 outdoor locations or did you top up for it?

Hello Jean,
Yup. It seems like a standard? It is part of their company theme to take till the night shots. And they would ask you if certain places meant anything for both of us.. which we suggested Amara Sanctuary as already did our ROM there and would be havin our banquet there as well. our main request is to accomodate for our furry baby to take pictures with us out in the greens..

think MDW is pretty flexible as long you tell them what they want and if its achieveable, they will accomodate as much as possible.

happy.gif

Really? hmm...i thought they package only indicate 2 places. the last time I asked, they told me top up is needed for night shots.

So your marina barrage are all night shotS?

We did pay above the 4288 standard as we originally wanted to pay more to go to HK. So instead of lowering our price for our package, we increased the pics and changed aspects of our package and throw in all the "chargeable" stuff like ampoule, fake eyelashes, mums' make up even up to actual day. So perhaps maybe thats why i had 3 venues...

Yes Marina Barrage is all night shots.. lovely place it is...

Hi Christin,

Great to hear that you took your PS at Marina Barrage. I am sure your photos will come out very nice. Hope you can share with us once you get your album from MDW. hehe

that will be in september! already informed by alyssa on the expected date it will be completed by... doubt i will be able to do much in sept as my AD is on 3rd oct.. hence im alr busying ard the details of the banquet.. SIGH.
BUT we have seen the pics and marina ones are really nice!!

Did you take your nite shots at MB as well gal?

I just chose my PS venues. For night shots, we chose Fullerton instead of Marina Barrage. I prefer Marina Barrage, but my HTB prefers Fullerton..Hope it's not a bad choice.

I am not very satisfied with the gowns i chose for PS...I hope can make appt to choose gowns that i like. But my coordinator, Rachael is now overseas. I hope she will help me...*cross fingers*

hey celine: i do rem a clause that says that changing of PS gowns after fitting alr taken would be charged... you can see this clause on your receipt.

Do check with your consultant as soon as she returns...

Hey Jean: Decided agst HK as had no time to go overseas and since we could take with our dog if we do locally, we decided to change to SG instead.

Well,i met with car accident the day before and suffered from pelvic fracture. But i still turned up, cos i thought the PS interview is with the photographer. Turned out to be just a conversation with the staff.

I think i choose the gowns hastily. They let me try 3 gowns with no train, 3 gowns with long train and 5 EG.

Later that day, she called me to inform me that one of the gowns with long train is actually unavailable. She misread the availability date. So i had her to send me the pic of another one which i thought was ok.

But the more i think, the more i think i dun like what i chose..

Luckily she agreed to give me another chance. But that will be 2.5 weeks later..

Celine: so sorry to hear that. Hope you are fine now.

Christin: I see..I bought the tics to HK on impulse as the airfare is really too tempting, but I have yet to confirm going HK for PS.

Hi all,

I have just finished our photoshoot yesterday. So tiring but very satisfied. Shall provide a detailed information later on how we came about to choose MY DREAM WEDDING.

Our actual day will be on 20 Jan 2010.
Cheers...

Just finished the local photoshoot on 4 August 09.

My wife-to-be have tried the gowns during fitting and didn't really like the gowns at first as she's only about 1.58M in height and looking at something sweet, plain yet nice.

But the designer Allysa done a very good job. She provide a listening ear to my wife and tried her best to find the 3 gowns after trying on more than 10 gowns which will suit my wife and portait a wonderful appearance through photoshoot. As when my wife and I tried those gowns and suits, she would took photos and eventually place it through the PC and let us see.

What we have realised is doesn't mean that when the gown suit you, the photo would be great. It's the gown's detail that provide a better photo image which enable you to bring out the charisma within.

Throughout the period when we have signed the package with MDW till fitting or photoshoot, Allysa have been doing a good job and followup. I have also change the photoshoot date cos' I need to choose a good lunar date for it and Allysa is willingly compromise and eventually come to a point of give and take. Even at times, when we suddenly dropby their boutique, she would try her best to let us feel comfortable and serve us even when she have customer there. I think I have been a slightly difficult customer but I didn't even hear or see any unhappiness from them.

Before that we will have a discussion with the designer, coordinator and photographer on how we would like our story to be on pictures and where would be the ideal location for photoshoot, hairstyle, personal likings etc. We also told Allysa and Golden (photographer) that we will be preparing a few items meant for photoshoot.

At the day of photoshoot, we reached around 9.45am then the makeup artist will start on my wife and ended about 1 and a half hr later, luckily I was told to bring magazine or PSP otherwise I might go crazy...haha.

I was done in 30mins or so then after some preparations, we sat off in a passenger van around 12.30pm along with Golden (Photographer), Leon, Max and Gina (Makeup artist).

I have to say that Golden is very fun, professional, experience photographer. He will try his very best to fulfill what I requested and think of a story which solely meant for both of us in his professional view.

Leon and Max, the assistants to Golden and Gina are always that helpful and trying all ways to make to smile/ laughs and to let us get into the photoshoot scenario. They would help us on our changing of attires, shoes, accessories and carrying our stuffs. Wiping off our sweat and touching up on our makeup.

We felt like those super VIPs actor & actress from overseas visiting to singapore...hehe. They have even prepare fruits, drinks and foods for us in the passenger van, definitely wonderful and taking note of things in detail.

We went to 4 locations as requested by us and told Golden that we will pay whatever cost incurred after the normal photoshoot timing for usual 3 locations. Although it will be a bit of fast pace as mentioned by Golden but ultimately we enjoy throughout the whole photoshoot and didn't even realise.

When we went to our 3rd location at Bontanic Garden, I saw other 3 couples. My wife told me that one of them with only a photographer, the bride was struggling to do something to her shoes as you all know that when the bride is wearing the gown, her movement will be restricted and no one was there to help even the groom. Then I saw another couple also with only a photographer was squatting inside the bushes to take photos. Last one was with a photographer with an assistant but sad to say I saw the photographer using one hand to take the camera while another hand with a CIGARETTE and puff on!! Don't tell me that he's trying to make smoke effect...(sighs) To me it's not that professional and after a few shots he pass the cigarette to his assistant to puff on. I thought that NEA have governing laws that we can't smoke in parks. Or haven't started yet.

I told my wife about it and finally she realise how lucky we are to have a bridal boutique like MY DREAM WEDDING...

We return to the boutique about 8pm and after we have packed and get changed, we went home feeling happy, excited and satisfied.

I have also took a few candid photos for sharing. Now we are both so excited to see the outcome of our photos....Cheers!
