MUA Recommendations

I'm looking for AD mua and am recommended to some mua. Wanted to gather some reviews for the following mua, if you've come across:
- Cynderella
- Amanda Cheong
- Charlane Yu
- Valda Goh
- Tangyong

Do we make deposit to lock in the dates without a contract with the mua? I think typically mua does not have formal contracts, unlike bridal boutiques. If not how do we secure the deal?

Hi, I engaged Valda Goh for my PW and will do so also for my AD. She's v friendly and nice, and I loved the makeup that she did for my PW per my request for natural look. Highly recommend!

I did pay a deposit to lock in dates without a contract. I think it's not common practice to have a contract for MUA, but they'll document everything black and white in email. Once payment is made, you inform them and they'll reply with a confirmation.

Hey! Can i check if you did a trial before your PWS with Valda? Just wondering if it's necessary to do a trial first before the PWS (because it's usually an additional cost) versus just communicating with the MUA over msg/phone/email with regards to desired look etc?
