I am at the initial stage of a divorce proceeding. My children are aged 8 and 14 this year. I understand that the maintenance for children are given up to the age of 21. If I ask $1000 from my husband, let's say from next year onwards, is the calculation from the youngest child.
Youngest child will be 9 next year, till 21 years old, it is another 13 years. So, maintenance will be $1000 x 12 months x 13 years?
