is wedding banquet necessary??

hi all.. i'm having a hard time making decision.. should i place the wedding banquet.. or should i save the money for our house?? its aready bothering me for some time... any advise?

I am not going to have a banquet as well.. Firstly Coz very exp and also time consuming.. But our families r ok with it. I am just having a buffet for all my guests after my ceremony.. Hmm.. Maybe you can book a restaurant and invite yr close friends and relatives if u Dunwan banquet?

please do consult both your and your SO's parents before you decide.

if they are really okay with it, then you can save the hassle.

For me , the answer is no as long as you and yr htb have the same agreement and both of your priority is to save the $ for the house.
