I really need help in ROM planning ????

Just to check if my venue is at ROM office when i efile. then if i wan to change can i still change? I mean change to outside rom?

I think there are some threads on JPs on this forum... you may want to use the "search" function. Or another way is to look for JPs that you may like - male, female? - check ROM website, then do a search on those JPs names on this forum?

ROM dun operate on Sundays and public holidays so you need to solomise Outside ROM..
get a JP to help you with this...

Think you can use the Love that binds room at ROM office on public holiday. bt there will be charges... can find out more from them if u wana do it at ROM.

u shd try look for venue 1st for the date u want and also solemniser.
I found the venue i want then contact the solemniser i want but shes not available, fortunately i had yet book the venue. So now either i change solemniser or change date hehe but then if u not fussy abt the solemniser u can book ur venue 1st

i am just starting to plan my ROM for next yr. is it very uncommon to ROM first then have my customary 3 yrs later? Because we are ready to settle down and move on to the next phase. but i intend to further my studies while we look for a flat at the same time.

Hi Carrie,

Congrats to you and your FH.

Please don't let your studies be a factor to your marriage.

Since you both are ready to move on to the next phase, do proceed as along the way sometimes your plans may change and who knows you would be holding your Customary less than 3 years.

Just like me and FH, we used to thought that we would have our Solemnisation and Customary on the same day sometime next year but then we are getting ROM this coming November and most likely our Customary would be held on 2nd half of next year.
