Just met up with Remus and according to him each table located beside the pillars will probably be blocked 50% if max out 30 tables. However, there will be live streaming of the event on 3 screens and hopefully minimize the inconveniences.Hi all, I'm considering to book Hotel Jen for my wedding next year but i realise the pillar at the Gallery room is really quite big. Anyone who had wedding at the gallery room before? Is the pillar blocking alot? What's your review on your march in?
Mine is a small wedding for 12 tables. My AD only in Sep16. Feedback from other brides for malacca penang room, March in is ok. For 30 tables, it can only fit gallery ballroom.Hi Katyew,
May I ask how many tables did u booked for your luncheon? Didn't know they have the option to book two rooms at one go and does it affect your march in? I am looking at dinner anot not sure if this option is available for 30 tables..
My Event Sales Manager just called me to tell me the hall which I have requested to book, to which he has given his word and said to prepare contract for us to sign has been taken by someone else instead. To which I am very appalled and disappointed by the service rendered. Again and again he just keep saying it was his colleague that confirm the other couple and claimed that he was not aware. Clearly both Events Sales Manager do not communicate well and their miscommunication and mistake was pushed to us the bride and groom to be couples to solve instead. Right from day one for the venue visit we told him we wanted to book that room and are expecting 30 tables with no alternative dates available(due to lunar calender counted by folks) and he claimed that he misunderstood my email when I inquire about the Penang Hall instead. Of which, i really think it is a no brainer that my 30 tables crowd would not be able to fit in Penang room so why would I even be interested in that smaller Hall instead. And all the while, on the day of venue visit i told him I wanted the Gallery room and the next day I event dropped him an email to say again and he told us he will prepare the contract and today, this is the kind of respond I receive. And worst, whole time he only kept asking me to consider saturday lunch or other dates instead. I am really very disappointed and stressed by the sudden problem posted to us which we thought we finally have secured and settle the wedding venue for our big day. :'(
