My wedding is next Sunday and now quite worried that things will go wrong.... Can I ask those that had their wedding before, generally what time do u start your dinner? And is the timing (march-in, change gown, etc) only fixed on the actual day by the ops manager? Cos my coordinator did not really brief me on the actual night timing and it's very difficult to find her, so quite worried now.
And for those that had a day room for helpers, when did your coordinator confirm with u that u can have the room? I asked Jasmine for it, but she cannot confirm with me that I can get it. I really wanted the room so that my helpers no need to go back home. Otherwise, I still need to arrange transport for them to go home.

Congrats to yr forthcoming wedding!
The Op mgr will arrange a time with you after u had chk in the hotel to brief u on the details of dinner eg, collect portrait & whatever u wan to display at recep, the routine of dinner.
My advice is make sure all yr helpers will be there for this briefing so everyone will clear.
I do not request for a dayroom so can't advice you much on this.
Normally for dinner to start it depends on yr guests arrival time & after 2nd dish(which is sharkfins, boy! I hungry now) the op mgr will inform u to change gown & for my case they call me in my room to tell me get ready to go down. Don't worry, just relax as definitely u will be treated like princess & somebody will be at yr side to tell you what to do next!

Have been very busy after my wedding. Honeymoon, then come back start work and have to adjust to new home. Many house work to do and also not used to travelling so far to work. Tired. How are all of you?
My wedding went on quite smoothly. I must say the people at HIPV are very helpful. The only regret(not sure the right word to use) that I had that night was not abling to be there early to welcome my guests and also to mingle around with friends after toasting cos everything like very rush . Not sure why also but we had a great time. No regrets choosing HIPV and also the rest of the services that I engaged.
Will try to come in here more often.

my wedding is finally over! Thumbs up for the Ops manager and his staffs of HIPV! They really did a very good job. Really good service. My friends are really impressed with the hotel and their good service.

some things hope that you can advise cos I am due to confirm my tentative booking at HIPV next week.
Eugenia was the one who liase with me, and so far all the things like additional Valet-coupons that I had request for;she say no problem.Seems very accomodating to my requests,etc day-room for sisters..
Is there anything that you could advise what I can ask for from her? By the way, what did you bargain for initially when you sign up with them?

I did not bargain for anything extra from them initially. It was in the last 2 weeks before the wedding when I met up with the coordinator that I requested for more carpark coupons and a day room. I will say that whatever request that u have, they will definitely do their best to satisfy u if it is within their limits. I have no complains for their services. Both me and my hubby feel that HIPV have excellent service. We had a really good experience with them. And I must say that the setting of the ballroom and reception area is very cosy, we really like it.
What's most important now is that u like the hotel urself. The rest of the details will come later nearer your wedding date.

Just seen your photos, very well taken. What is the name of your bridal shop? which gown did u used for the wedding dinner evening gown? the red one or the blue one? U really look stunning and beautiful
I realised you have a very nice figure, and u carry the gowns very well. I have been trying some beautiful gowns(Wedding/evening)at certain bridal shops but I just can't seems to carry them well. If only I got your figure. sigh.....

I have been away fm this thread becoz of my house renovation, very busy and health not so well. I hurt my spine and been suffering fm pain. Been very depressed, so I went to visit your pics, but when i look at u and yr hubby happy pics, it kind of cheer me up.

Thanks for all your compliments! My bridal shop was White Link. I wore the blue gown for my wedding dinner, it was MTM. Actually when I took my ps, the photographer had to teach me how to stand and pose so that it looks good.

i havent get my PS pics back yet so unable to upload. My album will only be really in Apr. Yet i going to take the gown that look like 2 pcs wan. Have not go to MTM my gowns yet. Will do that end Feb or early Mar. Still havent decide on my EG.
