Hi, this is not a relationship problem and it seems like many people have not experienced this. Thus I would like a honest opinion.

If you have an interview with company A and another office in the same company called you for an interview, do you disclose to them that you already have an interview with 'them'?

However, since it's similar roles in different offices, what if the person decides not to see you since you already have an interview? Although everything is not confirmed yet. But would you not be losing a chance?

So my question is what is a good way to handle this without offending any sides?

Just tell them honestly, and go for the other interview. Nothing wrong with having more choices. One candidate I interviewed decided to take up the job in another subsidiary of the company I was with.

Jus be v clear of what you wan in your career when u r going for the interview. I ever interviewed candidates on the multiple positions they applied in my ex company. And 1 question I will always ask is why did you apply for so many positions in this company, any role will do as long as you get employed???

you think too much liao. since it's different roles, no harm going for the other interview. you want to tell them about the previous interview or not - it's not that consequential anyways.

Powder, any decision-making needs to be 'informed'. TS is just gathering opinions before she makes her move. I think there's nothing wrong with that. Afterall, different companies have different cultures and policies and thus it's good to hear from others.

Also, it's not both companies..more like both departments in the same company.

if they are of 2 different hiring parties, then it's TWO. be it 2 different offices in same country, different country etc. the fact that both parties are not aware is good enough to know that the 2 interviewers are seeking for their individual depts/teams etc.

anyway i see no reason not to reveal, in fact it may be good to expand as to Why the hiring of 2 different offices are there... Without showing knowledge for it, u can only guess what it is. so no better way than to open mouth and ask or speak.
