Help on Nice

Hello all
I am a new joinee and BTB. I am hoping to have my AD in Nov this year, not too sure if I can get a restaurant at such notice. I have already emailed a few restuarants / hotels, waiting for their reply. I don't really have an idea of which venue to choose actually. I tried to look through the threads under the wedding banquet forum, but I still am rather clueless. Hence I have decided to ask for help through this thread.

Atually my preference is for somewhere with a classy / elegant ambience. Hence I am more inclined towards hotels. But I don't really have a big budget, hence I am trying to reach a compromise.

Any recommendations? I went Sheraton hotel previously for a wedding dinner, I quite liked the ambience. However, I do not want to be seen as a copy cat, so I would like to avoid choosing Sheraton. On the other hand, low budget hotels like Lion City is definitely a no go for me...It's cheap, but it definitely could do with more class

Hihi, when is your AD? How many people are you planning to invite for your wedding? Cos then it's easier to narrow down the restaurants. Possibly quite hard to find now but if the date is a hot date.

You can try calling them instead as they respond faster if you call them.

You won't be seen as a copycat if you really loved the place. It's your wedding so dun hesitate to choose the place if you like it =D

Hi L, you won't be seen as a copycat haha, tell you ah, a handful of your guests may have gone to the hotel (your ultimate choice) for weddings already.

Every wedding is different.
