Fresh Grad's pay

If u understand how hr computes the enumeration and incentives, then u would realize starting pay is the importance ishould match your worth to the biz. Focus on that. If u r at the bottom of your percentile, it easy for your manager to adjust and reward u. If u r not value adding to your biz, there will be no progression. Nothing for your boss to justify the incentives.

"bank jobs are not all rosy too. have a few frens in different banks, all wanting to jump ship..." Guess it apply to all jobs... every job has its pros and cons...

my pay started off with 2.2k.. then contract ended.. though my position in my new company has risen im getting 1.6k.. just couldnt get a job after 2 mths of job search.. plus i have 2 years of relavant exp. hhaa.. sad.

i think basic admin work would yield past 2k, unless ure talking about specialising in a specific industry being their core worker, meaning non HR/Payroll.

It is not the degree, but whether the work justifies the pay. If a degree holder takes on a job that can be easily performed by a polytechnic graduate, do you think he/she can get a degree pay?
