Chinese-Malay Wedding

Hi!

My wedding is in October 2020 and a basically I'm Malay, and getting married to my Chinese boyfriend.

Are there any other Chinese-Malay couples here too and if so, can you guys share how you guys are coping with 2 different families and cultures? I'm also interested to know what kind of Chinese customs you ladies are gonna have during your wedding.

Hi! My wedding is in September 2020 and i'm marrying my malay boyfriend. for chinese custom other than the tea ceremony which is the most important, there is nothing else to worry about i guess. are you wearing the chinese kua? and maybe you can have gate crash as well. i'm doing more to malay wedding like buffet and stuff. is your boyfriend side ok with no alcohol for the wedding?
