Rare arh, Gallie? I got a set of mahjong which is glittery purple in colour on the back of tiles. Not sure if I have passed to Meng too...

Here's my humble review:

YSL mascara - Applicator (brush) too big

Lancome liquid eyeliner pen - Brush is too hard/rigid, not easy to draw a nice continuous line.
 
maybe you are special doll...but most of the ladies i know don't like bigger tiles because find it too bulky...hehe

haha..my mummy has the same purple set as yours...so coincident.

hehe...doll, that's not all. she had her room painted in lavender colour & my dad was like Zzzzz...

ok..this uncle was out of job for more than 10 years after being retrenched & his wife was diagonsed with diabetes and kidney failure. that's not all, his younger son is physically & mentally disable when he was rescued from drowning since pri school & his elder son has been MIA 7-8 years since he went to work in batam.

he applied for production operator job & was rejected because he was told that the job needs gd eyesight, he applied for store & again was told the job needs young & physically fit person..applied for delivery asst, again rejected because of his age...so discouraging!

during the interview i told him to stay positive & be hopeful. When he smile at me with his watery eyes, my eyes turn red too..i know he is under tremendous stress & finding hard to cope...so helpless...

haiz, feeling very sad for him...
 
Gallie, your mom has very fine taste lol. My bedroom used to be in soft lavender. My dad chose that colour for us!!! Purple was his favourite too

I remember that when I was two or three years old, I liked to draw on the wall of the bedroom, in colour pencils and crayons! My mom used to get mad at me but my dad was the patient one, who would just paint the "vandalised" wall with a fresh coat of paint. I miss my dad...

Poor uncle...maybe can help him to contact CDC?
 
gallie, any idea why the uncle was out of job for more than 10yrs? its a long time leh...... nowadays not ez to find job for elderly, haiz.... but if dun work, how to survive.......

he did but not much render was given according to him. i don't understand because he said something like he has an adult son, so no entitled for subsidy etc...
 
Having 10 mins break after class now, then I need to rush to invigilate test. I feel sad for that uncle's plight.

The employers rather hire those young foreign workers instead of old sporeans nowadays because they have more strength etc.

Spore govt earning so much $$ from ERPs etc. Why I still hear some poor families not having any assistance at all from govvt?
