I paid $20 for 3 Sultan durians. My BF and I finished up 2 durians as supper.

Well once a man changes heart, he will leave the wife no matter she's pregnant anot. The same applies for woman too.

I was hunting for jackfruits at Geylang last week but couldn't find.
 


mamaheart... ytd our durians cost $85 wor..
initially i thought $15 each.. den when i ask my bf how much he said $85 den i stare at him.. he say its 1kg $15 not 1 durian for $15.. =X
 
actually i prefer to eat durians at the stall..... they have tables and chairs there

the durian smell can linger in the car for days....
 
green: the husband usually don't like jackfruits but don't know why that day he wanted them ..

cuc, green and mayi, think all of you kanna "chop" by the store liow....... HB bought 3 durians for $15.... very good leh...... maybe we organise durian feast

actually some durians are sold by per pc..... some might cost $5, $10 or $15 each. they are of the same quality as those sultan durians.

i dun really like sultan durian.... i prefer durian to be smaller and in 'weird' shapes.....

It's standard 3 sultan durians for $20 leh at several stalls. Different grades of durians have different pricings. I also saw 3 for $10 but the durians are much smaller.

I'm qing chai, eat any durians as long the flesh not stiff. My bf wanted to eat more 'famous' type of durians, so let him buy lor haha.

i only know the ones we bought are called XO durians or something.. cos i like to eat bitter de.. but the durains really good.. thick juicy flesh with bitter taste + a little bit of sweetness.. keke..

theres another one more exp.. $22 per KG.. call 猫山王...
 
mayi, oni sultan can eat sultan durians in the past.... for the royalty....haha.......

think sultan and XO durians are quite similar.....

the cost price of those durians are very low..... oni when they come to s'pore, then the price sky-rocket.....haiz.....
 
I felt sad for the gal under the sad story thread after reading the blog.

My case quite similar to hers. Wife became a different person after taking on a new job. Prior to that, she was a great galfriend. Never expect this to happen to me, completely devastated then.

Though I didn't manage to identify a third party, I know that her heart has change totally. Really puzzled me and my MIL when it first happened.

Somehow, today seem a bit more solemn.
 
skylar, ya, the hb found a new job, then got posted to geneva for 3wks (she was in her 1st trimester then). when he came back, found all sort of execuse to be away most of the time..... and the lady will be due in jan 08.... poor thing..... so sad ......
 
Skylar, yes.. tat's pretty much wat happened. hb left her when she's still expecting their first child. So she's alone going through the last of her preg.
 
There are more than 1 such case already, hb dumping pregnant wife for other woman.

Emotions of the heart are always complicated. External factors like new environment, new friend circle etc can change a person's mind on what he/she wants.
 
well have u pple ever wondered...wat's the pt of getting married??..wat's the pt of putting so many effort & $$ in the wedding to show off??..den 1yr down the rd both head twds separation?..
 
ya, quite true..u never know the future...whenever my parents press me to go find a gal to settle down, i will tell them back.wat's the pt of marrying when few yrs down the rd will get divorce anyway..haha
 
Siao, everything always appear very clear on hindsight.

Even when things goes wrong, it will still take some time for one to come to terms with the situation and consequences. During this time, there will be some hopes lingering around that the marriage can ultimately be salvaged.
 
R/s r juz so vulnerable nowadays. Even having tat marriage cert doesn't stop a person, man or woman, to like find someone else. It juz comes to show how a person's heart can change so fast.

Being financially independent is 1 thing, but matters of the heart, once u r being hurt and betrayed so badly, its very hard to trust another person again.

pinky, think the guy oni oversea for 3 wks but drag for 3mths b4 the guy ask for divorce. TOW is a colleague of the guy, and they were sent oversea for training.

now me craving for waffle liao.... argh.... sho bad... my sister jus commented that i have put on weight again... my brother say i so auntie now.. sobs sobs..

btw, isnt it if you're in love with this person, its not possible for u to fall in love with another... and only away for 3weeks, so easy/fast to fall for another one??? 0_o
 
Both the TOW (3rd party) & her hubby are at faults. It's scary how 3 weeks can destroy memory of a few years.

Share a story... My uncle was with his 1st GF for 10 years. After knowing my auntie for just a few weeks, he changed heart and fell for auntie! He refused to marry his 1st GF but got married with my auntie after dating 1 year.

both dragon and mayi work at raffles place..... hence to reach causeway point might be around 7pm?

greenie works in woodlands, and knock off wat time?

I knock off 5pm, can reached there around 6pm..... if bring boi along, maybe reached there around 7pm.

one word, this guy is shit! just 3 weeks leh.. OMG! how can he just drop his wife liddat.. somemore preggie leh..

but of coz there are cases where long distance relationship can endure the test of time de lah.. haiz...
